Check in was smooth. Cabin is anything but. Iron burn marks on bedroom carpet, cigarette butts on deck and walk way into the cabin, slop mop in bucket on deck, serious need of paint everywhere. Smells musty and very dark. Outdated decor and appliances. Picture hung behind stove was splattered with grease. The all inclusive Southern style breakfast was a...

We are so sorry this guest had this experience. This cabin does have a few imperfections but that's no excuse if it was not cleaned properly. I will personally inspect this cabin and counsel our housekeepers accordingly. We have been working diligently on upgrades and renovations throughout our property and have spent $500,000 in the last 3 years doing just...

My husband and I rented a cabin for the weekend. It was a beautiful, quiet setting in the foothills. Our cabin had recently been renovated. (The website tells which ones have been completed). We enjoyed the hot tub room as well as watching deer from the balcony. Breakfast both mornings was excellent with superior service. If there was one complaint,...

Beautiful mountain cabin resort with horse stables, wedding venues, swimming pool, walking paths, and so much more. We sign up for the breakfast each morning and each was great! The drive from the resort to Dahlonega was only 15 miles and it was a very nice drive. Our cabin was a one bedroom with a king size bed, hot tub,...

Just back from 2 nights at cabin 4.Went for wedding outside of the resort. After reading some of the reviews had some concerns regard this property , but everything was fully booked & this was a wedding that we could not miss. Check in 5 min , smooth. Cabin 4 looked & smelled great inside, it may have being remodeled....

We stayed the weekend for a friends wedding (October 2016). They booked two lodges for the wedding party (each room had to pay separately for the rooms). We paid ~$280+ for two nights and a room with what seemed like fluff filled pillows and two queen beds, VERY uncomfortable. The room looked like it had been recently painted, but just...

Other teams in our company have used FH in the past and recommended it to us. Our 2015 mtg was in Estes Park, CO and was impossible to match. MIND BLOWN! FH was Not fancy, not five star. Not trying to be. They just want you to feel like you're at home when you're with them. Mission accomplished. Great food,...

We only stayed one night, on our way to NC. It was a bit difficult to find, but being from FL, we enjoyed the drive through the rolling hills. We stopped first at Amicalola Falls (a MUST see), and they provided us with a local map, showing the resort right near by. When we first saw the cabin from the...

My wife & I recently spent 3 nights in the wilderness Lodge. Very peaceful. Only sounds were nature when you were outside. No traffic noise or sirens or foot traffic in hallways. The only noise we heard inside was the closing of a door or running water from another room. I originally picked Forrest Hills because it was cheaper than...

when I selected Forrest Hills via internet it was a chance. I wanted a place near Amicalola Falls and Burts Pumpkin Farm. This was it. Got to the resort before dark on purpose because of the location. It is a rural area. Arrived and a little bit apprehensive but once we got in the room/cabin we were pleased. The next...

The Forrest Hills Mountain Resort offers a selection of private cabins with nice views of the surrounding forest. If an open floor plan, studio-style cabin is what you are looking for, this resort more than satisfies. For the price, the cabins are fitted with basic amenities and a full sized, freshwater hot tub (not a bath) which is drained after...
