My family and I spent one night in May. The gardens were really nice and neat. The owner gave us the first floor of the house as we were five. And it was huge and brand new. We really enjoyed the big and clean bedrooms decorated with taste. My sons loved the gardens with the trampoline and the sculpture. The... More

Stayed four nights in this excellent guest house. Along with the warm hospitality of our hosts the facilities are all there, en-suite bedroom, large flat-screen TV, free wi-fi and Sandra's superb cooked breakfast made for the perfect stay. The rural location makes for a very peaceful, restful break. Will definitely be back!

Lovely B&B set in the Aberdeenshire countryside. Sandra our host couldn't have been more helpful during our one night stay, wish it could have been longer. A very, spacious, comfortable and clean room followed by an excellent breakfast. A great home away from home experience. Would definitely stay here again.

1st and 2nd March 2014. We stayed for 2 nights and had a family room which was great – a big bed for me and a single for my daughter! The room was clean, large and well equipped with a good shower room en suite – and a bathroom next door too! Brilliant hosts, excellent B&B, highly recommended. TV in... More

We returned from working abroad and needed somewhere to stay as our house was let. The hospitality and kindness shown by Sandra & Allan during the month that we stayed with them was just outstanding. The establishment is extremely clean and fresh whilst the rooms were comfortable and accommodating. The continuing popularity of this B&B ensures that it is necessary... More

Just back from a 2 night stay here and we were all very impressed. We booked a family room, which was extremely clean, comfortable, modern and equipped. The owners Sandra and Allan were very friendly and laid back with guests staying in their house and nothing was a problem. We would have no hesitation about returning here in the future.

My family have just spent two nights at this excellent B&B. a bit off the beaten track, but once you find it, you will soon find that the journey eas worthwhile. The rooms were beautiful, we had booked two family and two double rooms and there was nothing we could fault with them. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked.... More

2nd time I've stayed here and again I was impressed. Nothing was too much trouble for the hostess. Well out into the countryside so it's peaceful and quiet. Nice to watch the housemartins dart about feeding on insects. Equally fascinating watching the robot mulch mower go about it's business cutting the grass ever so silently. Will gladly stay here again... More

Positives - Clean, friendly, spacious rooms, fantastic service, great views, easy to find, great value, lovely gardens, excellent Host. I always think it must be hard to open up your house to strangers but Sandra really did make us feel welcome, considering I am 6'4", 19stone, shaved head karate black belt who was up to teach a course in OldMeldrum...
