We stayed here for one night as we were visiting relatives nearby. Check-in was very quick and efficient and we had a nice spacious room which was very clean. The receptionist organised a taxi for us and was happy to supply us with more coffees when we asked. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had - everythng was piping hot and cooked perfectly. The server was very pleasant and helpful and explained the restrictions perfectly. I look forward to stayng here again.

Love Premier Inn, so easy. Staff doing a great job to keep customers safe. Can I suggest that all guests who are having dinner or breakfast are informed about the need for Qr code apps on their phones? It is a great idea but we were totally unprepared. It took 3 goes before we found an app that worked! It would have helped to know beforehand. You need a QR code app to provide info for track and trace, to access the menu and pay for the meal. Really great idea and it did not spoil our visit at all. All part of living in this bizarre new pandemic reality!

we were told on arrival there was no food available as pointed out on web site which we could not find and maybe we could try the hotel next door as this is where most guests had been using to eat or get a taxi into town after a 200 mile trip this is not what we were expecting

We have stayed here in the past and not had any complaints, but on this occasion we stayed in room 108. After our first night there first thing in the morning I went to reception to complain about the bed. It was lumpy, it moved as soon as you sat on it and made very loud squeaky noises as soon as you were actually getting into the bed, both my wife and I had hardly any sleep and my wife had a backache too. Although I told the receptionist all this nothing was done to remedy the problem knowing that we had a further two nights to stay. I was told that my comments would be noted on the system and was given a card with the contact details to complain to head office. I emailed our complaint on that very day and have still not heard back. As the main selling point of premier inn is a good nights sleep guaranteed I feel this should have been rectified with immediate effect. After three nights of sleeping in the most uncomfortable bed ever We were very happy to be leaving. It seems it’s a lottery of good and bad depending what room you get to stay in.

Hello there, thanks for taking the time to share your review. Whilst we're happy to hear you stayed with us and you usually enjoy your visit's, we sorry the same can't be said for this stay as the quality of your bed wasn't up to our usual standard. We're also sorry if the team weren't very helpful when you discussed this with them. Just so you know, we've now made a log of your comment's and have passed them to the hotel's management team to see what improvement's can be made going forward. We wouldn't want standard's like these to continue so the bed will be checked to ensure any necessary faults are rectified. If you still haven't had a response to your contact form, please give our Guest Relation's team a call and they can discuss it further with you. You can reach them by calling 0333 003 0025 (option 1). Thanks again for getting in touch and we hope to see you again soon. Ricky

Even though the hotel is very close to a major road, you can't hear the traffic at night so you get a good nights sleep. The staff are very helpful, friendly and pleasant. My only complaint was, the food was served up on cold plates and so went cold quicker. Especially the breakfasts. otherwise we really enjoyed our stay! Would really recommend this hotel.
