We stayed at Raccoon Lodge to celebrate our anniversary weekend, it was VERY secluded and romantic, with beautiful mountain views, clean cabin and linens, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor hot tub (VERY private - could not even see any other cabins/homes nearby). We had a couples massage with their in-house masseuse and we HIGHLY recommend her, very professional! My only negative... More

My husband and I stayed at the Shanty Creek cabin for a mini-vacation. The cabin was perfect...very clean and secluded. We had unseasonably cool weather for July which was great. We grilled out every night for dinner. The hot tub was a wonderful way to end a day of shopping and site seeing. Ellijay and Blue Ridge have great shops.... More

We stayed at Laurel's Rest Cabin last weekend and had the most enjoyable, relaxing time. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable, making us feel like we were in our home away from home. This cabin allows pets so we were able to bring our dog, which was a big reason why we picked this cabin. Bringing our dog and... More

This most recent visit was our third stay at Coyote Bluff Cabin (our favorite) and at least our seventh stay at a Wilderness View cabin. The fact that we continue to return there time after time should speak well-enough for itself. The setting is perfect for a mountain wilderness retreat: wonderful views, peaceful and quiet - a great break from... More

My husband and I stayed at the Sassafras Ridge cabin for our 10 year anniversary. It was everything we expected. All the cabins are very secluded for that perfect romantic getaway we were looking for. The back balcony with the hot tub overlooked the deep wooded forest for extra privacy. The hottub is covered so we got to enjoy it... More

This is our 3rd time staying here and we will be back soon. Great place to get away from everything. The cabins are secluded for privacy and set deep in the forest. If you are looking for a romantic getaway that is less than two hours from Atlanta, this is it.

I've stayed in both Grandview and Windrush and greatly enjoyed each for different reasons. Windrush is great for 2-4 people, with a scenic view from the hot tub, nice spacious cabin and a cozy fireplace. Grandview is perfect for a large group as it has plenty balcony space with a great view, tether ball, pool table and a fire pit... More

The stay was awesome. Very rustic, scenic and very homey. Special thanks to Kelly, Michael and Bert for going well beyond what I expected for the trip. Every little detail was taken care of. Most definitely coming back and most definitely recommending to friends and family. I'm even thinking about buying the cabin I stayed in.

Wilderness View Cabins in North Georgia was a great experience. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. They provided excellent information on the attractions of the area such as the Fort Mountain State Park. Shanty Creek Cabin was a super cabin that had all the comforts of home, with the added benefit of a fantastic landscape. The... More
