Here for 8 nights and so far are loving the peace and quiet. Right on the river, 3 jetty’s to fish from, plenty of fish to catch. Old park, but well kept. Friendly staff and patrons alike. We will be back.
This was our first visit here. We received a warm, friendly welcome. Check in was fast and efficient. Our site was opposite the pontoon with the most amazing views. Our site was a good size. Two sets of amenities which were spotless, and two bbq areas with plenty of seating. A bonus is the on-site coffee van with wonderful views of the river. Two wharfs and a pontoon for fishing, saw several fish being caught from here. Just up the road is the tru blu prawn farm, most delicious prawns
We arrived in rain and really surprised at the immaculate , bright and homely cabin . Sadly for us the weather denied us using the facility’s here . Definitely worth a return visit soon. Heaps better than a “ Big Four” quiet and exceptional .
This place is honestly one in a million. It is full of charm and as soon as you arrive you are made to feel super welcome. Matt and Harry are both legends who can not do enough for you. It has so much charm with the coffee cart, beautiful gardens, sensational sunsets. Fishing the river was serene, so quiet and relaxing. We booked for two nights and stayed four, we weren’t in a hurry to leave.
We recently spend a couple of great days holidaying on the North Coast of New South Wales. Did not book any accommodation just took it as it came. And what a great surprise when l followed the sign and turned into the Fishing Haven Caravan Park at Yamba.. Absolutely superb.. Stayed in 2 bedroom cabin that had everything you could possibly need, extremely comfortable and very clean. So good even my wife could not fault it. But the best part was every morning being able to have coffee on the cabins veranda overlooking the beautiful Clarence River watching all the wild life sail by.. Then at night it was even better relaxing on the veranda having drinks after a hard day catching plenty of different and excellent fish we watched the sun set over the river and a warm glowing orange in the distance from the burning sugar cane.. Just magic.. The other thing we thoroughly enjoyed about our stay at the Park was that it was very peaceful and quiet. Over the years we stayed at many, many caravan parks but this one has gone to the top of our list as best caravan park in Australia.. What a find, absolutely magic..…
