Lake, hills, hiking trails, fishing, camping, forest, deers, what else one could wish for? Red top mountain state Park is one of the best outdoor life style junction. Camping sites are electric with water. Reasonable prices too.

For a weekend of fishing, hiking, wildlife and family get away this is a good place to start. Nice cottages, the wall are kinda thin, but for going camping it fits more than the necessary needs. There is a grill, picnic table and fire pit next to the cottages so you can have a cook out and family time all...

A day or two in the woods is good for the soul and this is the place to do it. We camped there this week and enjoyed every moment. It was quiet and restful so you could hear the birds chirp and the squirrels chortle. Each of the camping spots is nicely situated so you can see the woods or...

We rented a 2Bd2Ba cottage. It was really nice and spacious big for a state park. There is a sneak beach boating, fishing, concerts and other things to do at this park. My family and i really enjoyed it if you never tried Georgia State Parks accommodations you are missing a treat.

My son and I went to Red Top this past weekend. No other visible users on the trail, despite a nearly full parking lot. We hiked a short trail, as we went late in the day. Trails are well kept. We've camped at Red Top before and had no problems.

We were there with a group of 60 people for a family reunion. I rented a 2 bedroom / 1 bath cabin that was located on a hill overlooking the lake, although the view is blocked by the mature tree's....That's okay! The cabin was fully loaded with 4 beds, comfortable couch and chair, television, kitchen with home stove, refrigerator and...

the location is nice But the cabin was awful awful nasty dirty. Name it, it was dirty. Not worth $200 per night. We stayed in number 18, pet friendly cabin. The mattresses were stained, gross stuff on bathroom walls, stunk, light fixtures has years and years and dirt and dead bugs, cockroaches in kitchen, broken nasty dish washer, floors look...

Lovely surroundings, great trails and opportunities for watersports, roomy campsites. The only negative was the bathroom/shower facilities; their was one shower and two bathroom stalls-not nearly enough for females. The shower floor was caked with mud/debris, the wall in the bathroom stall showcased a squashed roach hanging at eye level. If you have your own facilities, you will enjoy camping...

Cabins are very roomy with 2 queen beds in each bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen. I believe all cabins have a water view. Porch with chairs and picnic table with charcoal grill short distance from cabin in yard. log fireplace need to purchase locally logs. I really enjoyed our stay. Quiet and relaxing

We had a great hike on Sunday! We went on the Homestead Trail, Sweet Gum Trail, and Visitor's Center Loop. The trail is compacted dirt, 2 people wide, and well maintained, and not too strenuous. The trail meanders through the woods overlooking Lake Allatoona. Definitely trail runner and dog friendly. We're going to try camping this summer once it warms...
