On our way from Perth to Hopetoun, we hit Kulin at lunchtime and dropped by the local hotel. Was very quiet and we were the only ones in the main dining area. The battered seafood for 2 was over fried and the menu mentioned peas but there was none. My husband's T-bone steak was more medium-well cooked than Medium-Rare but still tasted not too bad. It came with a field mushroom & tomato and it would have been better if there was a serve of greens too.

The pizza was fantastic. The loaded vege was a favorite & literally “loaded”. The spicy pepperoni was absolutely great...jalapeño & pepperoni a spicy combination which was even better the next day. Friendly staff & good prices. An excellent find in the Wheatbelt!

We stayed for lunch but would of liked to stay longer (have the steak sandwich). One of the bars has been converted to cafe and the premises as a whole is being updated. Nice place to stop at anytime of the day. Has various accom options.

Good value for money meals, lovely kids play area with a range of games and activities of kids of all ages. Lovely outdoor seating area with quick and friendly service. Loved the character heritage building and the park for littles and adults (think ninja warrior) across the road.

We stayed in a motel room for 2 nights. It was an excellent location for visiting the Tin Horse Highway. We found the staff very helpful, and we enjoyed the special Valentine's Day menu for dinner. All around we found it a good Aussie hotel experience.

Went to the Kulin Pub last night. Called at 4pm to book a table for 4 people for 6pm. Arrived at 5:45 to find that they had not reserved us a table. The four people in our group all ordered different meals. Without exception, they were the worst pub meals any of us had ever had. Everything was way over cooked, including the burnt garlic in the garlic sauce. To their credit, they gave us a free round of drinks because they stuffed up our table booking. Great atmosphere in the pub, just terrible food.

Stayed one night at the free RV stop across the road and we had fantastic chicken parmi and couple of drinks at the pub. Friendly service, great venue. The town is really welcoming to visitors and lots to see while you are here.

We had a stop over in Kulin and had dinner at the Kulin Hotel. Loved the atmosphere of the old pub. There was plenty for the kids to do with a playground, outdoor games, chalkboard & a pool table. Service was a little slow but worth the wait. Food was amazing! There was 13 of us altogether and everyone of us enjoyed our meal. Connie the owner was lovely and very happy to accommodate. Definitely worth a visit.

Arrived in Town and camped in the free camp opposite the Hotel. Congrats Shire fab facilities. Now the Hotel. What a great night. Very busy but all meals arrived together. Only complaint was size. However my wife and I shared a Chicken Parmy and it was the best, plus large enough for us and then shared a desert. Give the staff, chef full marks for an excellent night. Well done highly recommended.
