My wife and I plus 4-6 cycling friends love to stay at the Edgewater. Nice vintage hotel, good breakfast and fantastic location. It is a little quirky, especially the elevator. However for the price, location and charm it can not be beat.
Warm, receptive, personable, accommodating, and all round pleasant family staff.
Always helpful. Lovely quaint rooms and atmosphere with a wonderful breakfast. Most probably a great Thanksgiving meal as well. (Missed it by a day.)

Spent a long Thanksgiving weekend at the Edgewater Hotel. I stay there several times a year, and I am never disappointed. The facility is spotless, breakfast is always delicious, and the hosts are very gracious and accommodating. One of my favorite places.
While the accommodations are antique and far from luxurious, the hospitality makes this a wonderful place to stay. Very unique from other B&B's and we very much enjoyed our visit. Downtown Winter Garden, FL is worth the trip!

We usually lock our bikes inside our vehicle. The staff at the hotel is very accommodating so I'm sure they would be more than willing to help you bring them upstairs. The West Orange Trail is one of our favorite trails and downtown Winter Garden is beautiful with many fine restaurants and shops. Check out the Plant St Market and don't miss the Farmers Market on Saturday. Also take an evening stroll down to Lake Apopka.
Winter Garden, and the hotel are 13 miles from central Orlando. However the Orlando airport is probably 10 miles to the southeast of central Orlando, so my best guess is that it is 25-30 miles from the airport.
