This is a very nice B & B at a reasonable price and with good beds. Also the breakfast is good and includes a choice of cooked items and cereals, breads and fruit. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room TVs leave something to be desired, and if you like only modern rooms and bathrooms this is not...

Have been staying here for annual cycling event 5 years in a row. From the moment you drive onto the towns main street you feel like you went back in time. The Edgewater adds to that feeling with the brick exterior and old look lobby and elevator. Rooms are charming and comfortable and the sit down made to order breakfast...

Prior to choosing the Edgewater I looked up a number of reviews and my take away was that it was a charming hotel, in a charming little downtown district, maybe not as comfortable as today’s modern hotels with excellent customer service from the staff. That is exactly what we got and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. We enjoyed visiting with...

Attending a birthday party in the restaurant (The Chef's Table) housed in the same building, I decided to book a night at the Edgewater. Knowing nothing about it, I trusted the reviews of my fellow Trip Advisors and made the reservation. Absolutely delightful stay. This B&B is run by four couples who share the duties and do it wonderfully. The...

With a family function scheduled nearby, I was so pleased that I chose to stay at this wonderful gem of a B&B. My room was very comfortable...and extremely clean. There were many nice little homey touches that added to the experience. I was surprised to find a small TV in my room, which is unusual for a B&B. I would...

Wow, what an experience. From the beginning to the end of our stay, we had a wonderful experience. Arriving past closing, the owners waited up for us to check us in, then gave us a ride in the original elevator, built in 1927. This was the type of service provided for our entire stay. The rooms were fantastic, neatly appointed,...

This place is a gem. The owner joined us for breakfast (which was delicious) and told us of his 14 year experience restoring this 1920s hotel. It still has its original elevator and barber chairs. Wonderful family owned business. Rooms are terrific. My wife and I loved our stay. Also, its on the main street, right in the middle of...

Stayed at Edgewater Hotel on a recent weekend after wanting to avoid the cookie cutter touristy hotels in Orlando. What a nice clean and nostalgic beautiful hotel this is! The room I stayed in was very comfortable and quiet! The lobby looks unchanged since the 1920s as well as much of the building and that is where this hotel gets...

The rooms are very quaint, with each room being unique in decor. All was very clean, but it is an OLD hotel! The places where I would like to see improvements are in better lighting (there was one table lamp in the room and the switch on it was not working very well) and more seating. There was only one...

This wonderful place is located in a wonderful little town, completely restored and a gem in the middle of the state of FL. The Edgewater, run by a ministry of young Christians, is decorated with antiques and charming collectibles. They served breakfast in the a.m. at our convenience, and it was not only delicious, but more than ample. The sitting...
