We really enjoyed our stay here. The Lodge is a beautiful property. We stayed in the Jessie Ball duPont, which is I think the best room in the place. It faces the spring and has a really comfortable four-poster bed. Right now the camellias and azaleas are blooming and the maples are leafing out. We saw over a dozen manatees...

what a grand old dame she is! Decked out in Tennessee marble, “heart” cypress, original Art Deco ironworks, a fireplace the size of Cleveland, and painted wildlife motifs on the lobby ceiling, the lodge is like a step back in time. Since we’d arrived in late afternoon, we still had time to take a 45-minute boat tour down the river...

This hotel suited us perfectly, Its beautifully maintained, built in 1937, very atmospheric. The elevator is a gem. The lobby and setting is exquisite. Not very suitable for people who love total luxury although we were very comfortable. Restaurant had delish breakfast and acceptable dinners. Friendly, hardworking and helpful staff.

Since this was an overnight visit to both the Lodge and the Springs, my rating is based on the overall experience. The boat trip on the spring and river was definitely the highlight of the stay. (five stars) The lodge was built in 1937 and has been maintained to reflect that era. (three stars) We opted for one of the...

The river and boat tour shouldn't be missed. The lodge is convenient and a pretty good place to stay at a reasonable price. The restaurant was good for breakfast. Dinner (twice) was a disaster. Duck breast was fatty. Calamari fairly tasteless, but had a decent sauce. Otherwise, food was okay. Servers were pleasant when they could be found, which was...

Great stay at Wakulla springs lodge. A huge shout out to Steven at the front desk. He went out of his way to help me. I didn't catch the name of the man who gave me a tour -- he was also fabulous. Beautiful inn in a beautiful setting.

This hotel had a surprising old-world charm. A large pleasant lobby, staff dressed in old school attire. The elevator looked like something out of a old gangster movie. The rooms were strangely old fashion with no tv (said to keep families enjoying family time). However, they do have wifi and comfortable beds. The rooms are very clean. There is a...

I had a wonderful stay at the lodge. In addition to taking the boat ride at the Springs, there were plenty of trails to hike around the park. The lodge offers decent food, and has historic architecture. Love the old soda fountain. My room was spacious and comfortable. This is a magical place. I also used this a center to...

This hotel is historical. In good and bad ways. The lobby is beautiful, with the painted beams, and the caged elevator is really neat!! But our room was below average. We asked for 2 double beds and we got a twin and a double, and our light and fan we're not working. And when the website says Vintage Bathrooms, they...

It was a real treat staying at the Lodge. Yes, there are some things that need attention, but as old as this place is, it is very good shape. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were comfortable, aside from our initial room were the windows did not close completely causing condensation everywhere in the room (we were...
