Excellent service and staff were 100% polite. Really clean and organised. Can't wait to stay again. We stayed for the Harry Potter tours with it being 2-3 minutes around the corner so location was spot on.

Stayed at several of the chain now, you get a lovely country house, usually great grounds to stroll around and then bolted on modern bit ! These rooms are basic with no air con , ours was also small , but clean, with patchy wifi. Room is not better than Premier inn often without the pull out bed / sofa...

We went here after visiting Harry Potter studio Tour. We arrived early but that was not a problem. The tea arrived and it was lovely beautiful sandwiches and cakes, nothing was to much bother for our waiter, could have had more sandwiches and cakes if we wanted them. Good end to a good day. Would recommend it.

After visiting the Harry Potter Studios we came here for afternoon tea. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and provided a first class service as we needed to change our sitting time. The staff in the restaurant could not have been more helpful or friendly. They were lovely and even kept offering us more drinks and sandwiches. They made us...

Stayed at this hotel for two nights as my wife and myself were attending a family wedding there. The wedding organisation was ok and we enjoyed the occasion but some of the attention to detail left a lot to be desired, only one person serving on the bar for instance delays in vegetarian meals being produced. There seemed to be...

I was told on arrival that there was no record of my booking and they were unable to provide a room for myself and my partner. As a 7.5 months pregnant woman, having to be turned away after a long journey to attend a Wedding Reception, I can barely describe how deeply dissatisfied I am with the service that was...

The hotel looks very grand but unfortunately the rooms are very small. For the price we paid i expected a little more. Staff were friendly but we had to pay extra for a late check out and breakfast was average. The hotel is a good location if you are doing the Harry Potter tour but it is definitely over priced.

The exterior of this hotel makes you feel like you've hit the jackpot when you book to stay here. However by 4am you realise its a massive costly mistake that you wont be repeating in a hurry. Treated my son (10) to a weekend break here to combine the end of his sats at school and a trip to the...

Attended this venue for a 50th Birthday.....Drink prices are outrageous,£12.75 for 1 bottle of Corona and a large Pino wine (£8.50 for the wine) they should NOT be allowed to charge these prices! This really annoys me because they quite obviously think that if they have a country style venue you should pay the highest prices!
