The hotel is a little dated, but I noticed they are in the process of some renovations. My room was very clean when I checked in and the housekeeping staff did a great job all four days I was there. Very nice courtyard and pool...More

Yes, there are refrigerators in the standard rooms. Also, a microwave and coffee pot. Tip: Some may find the local water to have a horrible taste. My spouse said he didn't notice it while making coffee. For tea, I used bottled water that I bought at the supermarket. I live in Venice now (but in Sarasota county) and locals who are hooked up to the municipal water agree it has a terrible taste. We always enjoyed staying at the Hotel Venezia.
