This was a truly wonderful place to stay and we could SEE the ocean right from our bed (we were on the second floor) Will stay here again when we return for our next FL vacation. All the staff were kind and helpful. Lots of things to do in the area, but when your on the beach it isn't crowded.

We (me, husband, 3 year old daughter) LOVE the Island Inn room 318 (also called The Shore Thing). We were here for 8 days this summer and had a terrific time. If you shop around you will see that Island Inn has the BEST location on the beach. You can get a fancier resort by paying 2 to 3 times...

I am so pleased i booked this resort. If you want ambiance and want to spend a ton of money, this is not the place. If you want clean rooms (doubles and studios) with balconies overlooking the Gulf, the beach right outside your door, small tiki-bar by the pool, and parking on the premises (overflow lot directly across the street,...

This has been our fifth trip. Will never go to another hotel. It is old Florida. They are doing work on the place. Each room has an owner. So some rooms are better then others. But the rooms are always clean!! We have always been treated great here. Every person that works there has been very helpful and polite. Always...

This was actually our 3rd or 4th Island Inn visit (always in room 318) and our 8th trip to area beach hotels. The reason we return to the Island Inn is we love the beach/gulf view and the very short walk to the beach. When a quick rain downpour fell one afternoon, we were able to get back inside in...

Excellent Place for a Family Vacation. The Rooms Have a Kitchenette, With Refrigerator, Microwave and Stove. They Also have plates and silverware as well as Glassware. You can save a lot of money by cooking your own breakfast and dinners. They Also have BBQ grills that you can reserve and grill your own meats. Can't beat that! The room we...

During our recent visit, 7/31 - 8/3/15, we stayed in unit#411. Most all units are independently owned. The décor is pretty much what we expected, white wicker. The bed was quite stiff & uncomfortable. We called the front desk to request a cork screw as this unit is poorly furnished with utensils. Upon trying to use the room telephone, we...

Parking lot sucks,, so call "Ricks tiki bar" sucks. He has a roll down banner that could lead to a legal issue for him, many people hit their heads on it, yes blood is involved,, they control what you bring into the pool area, it's reserved for hotel guest only,, ya right outsiders control the pool area and as a...

We stayed in room 209, one of the privately owned units. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The views from the balcony were wonderful, especially the sunsets. We will be back in the near future for another week of rest and relaxation!

We will definitely stay again! If you desire quiet, ask for rooms away from elevators, stairs, pools or bars. Love our private balcony facing the gulf! Parking didn't seem bad to us but it was also December.
