Convenient to I-75 and Tampa. Staff was nice enough, but the campground is old and "worn out" and going downhill. The wifi very spotty and all spots are in dirt (most under trees that drop acorns constantly) and most are unlevel. Seems to be expensive for what it is. Not much offered to do there. Did have one new shower...

Convenient location to tour the Tampa area, close to Busch Gardens & Ybor City. Easy to access the interstate system & main highways. However this is an OLD and declining RV park. Sites are dirt with a small concrete patio pad and very close together. The electric, cable & water worked very well, the sewer connection is only a PVC...

The campground was ok. Did laundry in one of several there. Had 3 very old and warn out washers operating with one unplugged and 1 dryer. No mater what temperature setting you use it is all very hot. Dryer destroyed a $48 blouse and $60 pair of pants that got hung in the barrel. Temperature was off the chart hot...

Happy Travelers is a great place, very laid back. Brought back memories for my Wife from childhood. Close proximity to Busch gardens and FL state fairgrounds. We are already looking forward to next years FL RV show.

For those of you who are considering staying here, know that they are 55 and older though it is not posted on they're website or on their Good Sam ad. Turns out this is not a hard guideline, just one that they use to keep "certain" people out...So I called to discuss with the manager and try to get a...

Office staff very very unfriendly. Very little site maintenance unless you do it yourself: weeds out of control, fire ant mounds about every 3 feet, leaves from last season: rake them yourself. The permanent residents have multiple sheds, more than two cars, lots of junk and trash. Very cliquey people. You smile or wave, they just look at you. Police...

Stayed just 2 nights taking family back to the airport We found it to be a very friendly nice place. The pool is lovely although I was led to believe it was warm and heated which was cool and I believe was not heated? Although just swimmable. Everyone friendly, close to shops and amenities. Would stay here again. We had...

This is home, I live in a forest of beautiful Oaks that are home to many different species of birds and it’s not unusual to run into the occasional a raccoon... There is a family of Hawks that nest every year right above my RV…. It is a real treat to watch the baby hawks being taught by their mother...

They call the place "Happy Traveler," but about 60 per cent of the spaces are occupied by permanent residents. The place is not attractive. Lots of junky sites, sheds, canvas vehicle shelters, etc. roads are paved and adequate. Sites are not paved, and somewhat unlevel, but not too bad. There are fire ant mounds that have developed into fire ant...

We were driving back up north from the Florida Keys & found this place online as this was right around the area we were going to call it a night for the day. It seemed to get good reviews so we took the chance. Tony at the front gate was very cordial & showed us around as we checked in....
