Very disappointed this visit. Platinum member and the front desk argued with me about my reservation. Did not care that I was not happy. I was there for a birthday and they wanted a specific room. We did not get it. The hotel was nice. I told them I emailed the person who sent me a welcome and was told it is unmonitored. They get too many to be able to answer them. My reply was never returned as a unmonitored and was sent to a person not a mailbox. They really don’t care about making guest happy here. Expensive room to not get what you want. The water views are nice.
Wife and I went to see Clapton at the Amelie Arena. This location is awesome! We checked in on Friday. Left on Sunday morning. The Valet was friendly and easy. Checking in was helpful and professional! We had a corner room on the 24th floor. It had a beautiful view of the bay! Our room was clean and comfortable. Our view was spectaculer!
What a spectacular weekend at Marriott! From the time we drove up to valet, bellman, checkin, room service, pool and bar service was phenomenal. The staff was exceptionally catering and just overall nice! The food is delicious. The pool atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. We rented a cabana for a friends birthday for a nice getaway from the sun. Bruce, the pool attendant, did a fantastic job at keeping us stocked with water and ice, as well as keeping the entire pool deck clean and tidy. We spent some time across the bridge at the JW Marriott rooftop pool too. They really make it easy to jet back and forth between the two hotels for the pools, bars, and restaurants. We will definitely be back, and very soon!!!
My husband and I had a great experience at this Marriott. Nestor at the front desk was very attentive and solved an issue very fast. Matthew Walden at the bar was awesome and made sure all guests were well taken care of. We also enjoyed breakfast each morning outside overlooking the boats on the river. The food was excellent and the view amazing. On our last night my husband and I shared the filet at the outside bar. Guests of the Marriott can use the amenities at the JW which is connected by a sky walk.
Basic dirty Marriott. 2 beds city balcony, asked for a king bed & was offered @ $35+ per nt for platinum? What happened to upgrade upon arrival? Hotel ceiling in lobby has water damage. Room is dirty, linoleum floors in rooms cheap & not clean. Dropped something on floor & retrieved it with hair/fuzz attached from floors not being cleaned. Finger prints all over back of room door near peep hole. Patio door track as well as door outside all dirt & MOLD. Crumbs inside desk drawer. Ordered flatbread which was delivered burnt & cold. Steps up to pool is strange setup near meeting space. Bathroom not clean & walllpaper has dirt marks. It’s apparent no one cares. Asked for late checkout, hotel was not sold out & 2pm was latest or $50 fee for later. Restaurant not busy & took forever. I was waiting for Lyft & valet did not offer to help load bags, stood there watching me & luckily Lyft driver loaded for me. Room has safe in closet on top of a cabinet that can be moved?? This should be bolted to the floor. Asked for no housekeeping, DND removed & got housekeeping service. Overall Marriott gouging to make up lost revenues & skimping big time on cleanliness. NO ONE IS MANAGING THE RAMP!! Cars & people everywhere upon arrival. Valet had masks partially on & they should be worn & enforced.…
