The best staff in the world, and nice treats for breakfast. Very elegant architecture and within walking distance of everything. Very affordable off session. Love the four poster beds. If you love to stay in a place with some style, this is a great choice.

This hotel was originally a livery back in the 1860s and it has all the character and charm a boutique hotel should have. A manager there told us the support beams and posts were from the original building- very cool. The rooms were large and designed with an antique flair and each room was attributed to a Florida governor so...

The staff at the front desk and valet are very friendly, helpful, engaging and professional. Just spent long weekend @ Gov Inn for FSU homecoming weekend. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. They made the Govenors Inn worth the stay. The rooms with one bed are very small. However, my sons stayed in a room with two double beds...

Beautiful rooms! All areas of the hotel are well-maintained; it has the charm and appeal similar to that of a bed & breakfast. The staff at the front desk and valet/bellmen were incredibly helpful and efficient. This was a VERY positive experience. I will definitely be back!

I've always wanted to stay at the governors inn but it was always too expensive or there wasn't a room available . this time I got a Groupon so it was a really great deal and we went when there were no classes at FSU. we went an orientation tour with my niece and it was wonderful. Pretty cool place to stay. Very out dated but great location to visit the town. The best attraction here is the complimentary happy hour. Good rates unless it's a FSU game weekend. Try it once and see what you think.

Located in the heart of Tallahassee, the Governors Inn is a real jewel. I was returning from a trip to Florida Polytechnic University, and a favorite hotel was booked--so on impulse I stayed at the Governors Inn. The stay was so pleasant that it will now be my first-choice "go to" hotel for any trip to Tallahassee. The staff are...

My husband and I stayed here on a very hot weekend in June while dropping our son off at FSU. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to restaurants, the Saturday morning farmer's market, and - if it hadn't been 100 degrees in the shade - campus. Sunday morning, the valet let us keep our car parked after...

I stayed here for one night, just some place to lay my head after taking an exam, but they have left me wishing I had another week here. Perhaps it's just the comfortable bed that's allowing me to finally relax from the constant hustle and bustle from the every day life, or maybe it's the extremely friendly staff who talk...

Had a very nice room here only problem was the dustbin lorry which arrived very early across the road, we"ll ask for a room at the front next time. Nice bathroom, well equipped room with wifi and comfortable bed. Staff very nice and helpful. Would stay here again when visiting FSU, an easy walk to the campus.
