The Old Colorado Inn is a family run- friendly hotel situated within walking distance of the centre of Stuart. It is an historic building with lots of charm and we were made very welcome. We were also given advice on where to eat and the best beach to visit along with the loan of chairs and towels. Recommended.

We stayed in the Costal Cottage with our small dog and loved it. It had everything we needed - a kitchenette with dining area, a nice size bathroom with washer and dryer and a small back patio. Nicely kept, the air conditioning was great. The bed was very comfortable, so comfortable that we noticed it and both commented on it...

Cristina, I am taking the time to respond to some recent reviews now that our slower season is upon us. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay in our pet-friendly cottage with your dog. We recently put a brand new washer and dryer and brand new gas stove in the Coastal Cottage. We're glad that you were able...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Colorado Inn very much - it will be our go to place next time we are in Stuart. The room was just the right size, bed was very comfortable, kitchen was perfect and a lovely bathroom. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The owner treated us like...

Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review. I am finally getting around to responding to some older reviews now that the slower summer season is here. I am so glad that you felt like we treated you like family. That is always our goal and it is one of the pleasures of being in the...

Every year in April, our women’s group gets together for a long weekend of fun, food and fellowship. One member of our group lives in Georgia, another lives in Montreal, Canada, and the remainder of us reside in different cities in Florida. This year we stayed in historic downtown Stuart, FL at “The Blue House” which is part of the...

Crystal, thank you so much for your thoughtful review. Since this is our slow season, I am taking the time to respond to some of the reviews that have been posted in the past several months. As we wrapped up a short getaway in Vero beach, we drove a little ways south and stumbled in Stuart, Florida. What a cool town! Great shops, restaurants in the downtown area and everything you could want in the larger town. We wanted to explore more and had our dog with us. We stumbled on the Old Colorado Inn and...

We are so glad that you stumbled upon our quaint riverside town and were able to stay in our pet-friendly cottage with your beautiful golden/lab dog. We hope you will come visit us again and spend a longer time exploring Downtown Stuart and the surrounding area. There are a lot of restaurants in walking distance that allow dogs and there...

We recently celebrated an anniversary and decided to reminisce at the Old Colorado Inn. This is an historic structure but the innkeepers have updated the amenities to ensure your comfort. This is a family run Inn in all respects so you receive personalized service and care, a welcome change from today's cookie cutter chains. You receive a breakfast bag at...

Terrific and involved owner of The Old Colorado Inn made our weekend special. The efficiency room was well appointed with a comfortable couch in the living area and a wonderful bed. Our accommodations included a porch which offered us a good view of the water. Great spot for people watching. Receiving a specially ordered continental breakfast at our doorstep each...

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback about The Old Colorado Inn and our special town. We are glad you enjoyed the accomodations and the Farmer's Market. The Old Colorado Inn is a nice hotel with a history dating back to the 1920's. It's very well preserved and the rooms have a lot of charme.
