The three of us stayed here to go scalloping. We booked a three bed suite overlooking the river. It was a long ride to the gulf because of the idle zone. Our room was clean and cool, the ac worked great. There were two beds and a bathroom separated from the main living area. The other bed was in the...

We started out with a three bed one bath room. This was labeled a double room. However when we discovered the person in the third bed would have to enter the bedroom to access the bathroom we upgraded to their suite. This was perfect. The bedroom had its own bath & the third bed another full bath. There was an...

We stayed here for three nights while my partner visited her parents. Steinhatche is an isolated community literally in the back of nowhere where dust track roads are common. Fortunately, my partners mother worked at Pelican Pointe so we found our accommodation easily. Walking into the restaurant the smell of stagnant water surrounding the restaurant did not bide well and...

This is a budget type of place minus the budget price. We paid about 85 bucks this past Saturday night and we were the only ones there. The room was dated at best. Add in a 19 inch tv, and it screams.....Help me. The check in took a while as the poor girl didn't seem to know what she was...

Once we arrived there, the girl at the desk was very very rude asking us why we didn't check in the day before. Well it was because we didn't have reservations for arrival on a Thursday. Our arrival was for Friday. Then she wanted to know did we have more than 3 people staying in our room and we did...

The bf and I went to Steinhatchee to go scalloping. It was my first time going and he'd gone once before. Their check-in and check-out time here is a bit backwards to us... Check-in is at 3pm while check-out time is at 11am. We came from the Daytona area for a mini vacation and meet some folks out there. Our...

We were passing through Steinhatchee and stayed at Pelican Pointe. Clean, quiet, with a beautiful view. The beds were very comfortable. Screened balconies on all rooms. It was nice to sit on the balcony overlooking the canal.

We stayed here 3 nights while doing some fishing, the room was quiet with great air conditioning. I would not hesitate to recommend this as a place to stay. The view is nice and it is so close to fine dining and a bar if that is what you are looking for. They came and cleaned our room daily. The...

We stayed here two nights on our way farther south. When we read the reviews that said the rooms were behind the bar and restaraunt we were a little concerned. We didn't have to worry the rooms are sort of lined up along a canal to the river. As other reviewers have said these were some of the cleanest rooms...

Clean, roomy and comfortable room. Staff were polite and friendly. Pool was well maintained and clean. Nice patio area overlooking the pool. Within walking distance to the beach ( 5 min). Plenty of parking.
