My daughter just moved to Ft. Myers. I thought it would be nice to spend quality mother/daughter time before I had to head back home. We were in the Periwinkle Building which is one of the closest buildings on the beach. However, from what I could see even the buildings surrounding the pool had some gulf view. I honestly didn’t...

We have visited this hotel four to five times and always have been pleased. Our last trip was for a birthday weekend. When I mentioned this at check-in, my boyfriend was handed a bottle of wine (it was his b'day). He was thrilled. We had a one BR suite facing the ocean and on the end of the unit. We...

Sanibel Inn was located right on the beach. Our location was right by the walkway to the beach and our views were great. We had two rooms and asked for adjoining but they were unable to give us side by side. However we had rooms above one another, so the trip up and down the stairs was not too bad....

Great location, very family friendly! We had not been there before, so we weren't sure what to expect from the island or from the Sanibel Inn, but our expectations were high for both based on what we'd heard from family and friends. The Sanibel Inn was charming and perfect for a relaxing weekend. Excellent location for shelling. We look forward...

Stayed at Sanibel in July of 2013. Hotel is a collection of about 6 separate buildings each with about a dozen units. All the hotels on Sanibel appear to have the same layout, with an obvious height restriction as the tallest building I saw had 4 stories. We had the one bedroom unit and it had a small fridge and...

This was our first visit to Sanibel Island. It's a quiet island so if you're looking more more chaos, as in bars on the beach and a lot of people head to Fort Myers. This property is the only hotel with a bar at the pool/beach. The hotel is great, and the service was excellent. We got upgraded to a...

We stayed at the Sanibel Inn and it exceeded our expectations! The check in went very smoothly. The room was exactly what we were promised. The beds were very soft and comfortable. The view was awesome! The restaurant on site, the Sea Star, was very good. The best breakfast we had! The staff was so friendly! We took full advantage...

We had a two bedroom suite in the hyacinth building and it had a great view. the kitchen was updated, one of the bedrooms was beautiful with a tv and huge bathroom but the 2nd bedroom was very outdated with two twin beds (no tv). The mattresses were very uncomfortable in the 2nd bedroom and you could hear everyone that...

We booked thru JetBlue Getaways, for a brief 3 night honeymoon stay. The staff was welcoming and accomodating. We had a beachview one bedroom unit, with a kitchenette. Large flat screen tv, pull out couch, separate bedroom and bath. Screened in porch (lani). Room was clean, and had everything needed and as advertised. Each morning at 8:30, we had lounge...
