Stayed with a friend and brought the 22’ boat in August and again in November. This place is totally re done and modern as you can get, this place is immaculate and has quality craftsmanship throughout the unit, full size fridge, stove, microwave, fully stocked cabinets with all utensils needed, awsome bathroom fixtures as well . The staff was very friendly and they also have complimentary washing machines for customers. The docks are very nice and brand new .This place is definitely worth staying at for quiet relaxation time, especially since it’s at the end of the channel where there is no boat traffic and the property dits across from Woodys Restaurant and pub and only half block away from Monroe Marina and boat ramp. This place is probably the most updated motel on the Island and compares to the high end hotels and is like staying at Margaritaville with the same decor and wood plank flooring.Im already planning a trip with family members for next month.hopefully the pandemic will end soon and people will start coming to Pine Island again to enjoy the beauty and islands.

We stayed here during our COVID delayed spring break. We wanted some place to avoid the college crowds. OTC was pretty low key, the owners were great. The owners met us cleaned the rooms and made sure we were really comfortable. If doing it local is important to you, this is as local as it gets.
We had a problem with the air conditioning, we texted the owner at midnight and he was there in minutes, switched us to another room and made sure we were comfortable.
One of the previous reviews mentioned that it would be nice if they offered beach chairs ... they do now. One of the ones we borrowed was still new in the box. These folds listen and work really hard to give you a great stay.
There's plenty to do on Pine Island, the forest preserve is a 10 minute walk. A great little park on the north end of the island has a great spot to watch the sunsets.
The coolest thing was spending an afternoon with my daughter watching the pod of manatees that came right up to the channel 20 feet off the back of our room. They were fascinating.
The rooms were clean and well kept and I can't say this enough the OWNERs were helpful and really responsive.

Just had our first trip to Off the Charts and was very impressed. Lovely location, on the water. Docks for boats, and lovely sandy area with tables/benches to hang out at. The recently remodeled room (apartment really) had everything you could ask for, including full refrigerator and stove/oven ! Large TV, comfy couch and a gorgeous view of nature ! Saw MANATEES ! ! It's quiet and very pretty. We're visiting again in January, and will rent a golf cart to tool around in. Restaurants very close by. Highly recommend.

We love making a weekend trip to this area each year. It was a challenge finding a relaxing Inn with any slips after Hurricane Ian. I stumbled across Off the Charts Inn website on Google.
We contacted management few times with questions. They were always prompt to reply.
This is a boater’s dream! We had no issues getting our 27’ in a slip. The rooms are updated, cold and spotless. They provide all kitchen necessities, charcoal grills to cook your fresh catch!
St.James City is a great location to everything! It’s a short ride to Captiva, Sanibel or Cayo Costa. Several local restaurant bars close by with slips or walking from the Inn. There is a marina that supplies gas, diesel, fresh bait and supplies.
We plan on returning Off the Charts on our next trip!

Absolutely exceeded our expectations. We stayed here for two nights and found the property to be wonderful. The place had been completely redone after Hurricane Ian and they did a wonderful job, we stayed in a second floor unit with a screened lanai. The kitchen was very well stocked and the appliances were great. They even have a dishwasher. The lanai is large with settee, coffee table, chair, dining table, and an“egg” chair. There is no elevator but plenty of rooms are ground level. The area around the canal has sand and nice beach furniture so you enjoy the water view and watch the manatees. We literally saw several manatee all day long. The employees deal with you through text or email but they were very responsive and helpful. Many thoughtful touches throughout the property.

Great place nestled in the southern tip of Saint James City, FL on Pine Island. There’s 12 boat slips, tiki hut tables grills, corn hole games, fish cleaning station. Lots of parking. The rooms have been remodeled with granite counters and nice decor.
We will be back!!! I Highly recommend this little gem. It’s with in walking distance of bars, restaurants, and a general store

This is a wonderful motel on pine island. They are in the process of rebuilding after hurricane Ian and only have the top 5 rooms available as of now. When finished this will be a magical place on an island with a Florida keys vibe. There are lots of manatees and some dolphins in the canal that the motel is on. We really enjoyed talking with the owner about what the future holds for this place and will definitely be back.

Stayed here from June 18th to 21st
We had an excellent stay . inside our room was very clean and smelled Clean . You can tell it was recently renovated. You could tell they are pumping money into it . It has a Waze to go mostly on the outside. I would not hesitate to stay here again .
Boat ramp and marina location along with ample parking for trailer is a plus . Walking distance to restaurants is very convenient.
Staff was very friendly ,
I was very pleased

A piece of heaven off the beaten track. We had an apartment with large covered deck. The deck had a dining table, couch and hanging chair. There was a full kitchen including dishwasher. We could watch manatees in lay as we ate breakfast on the deck. Very good restaurants walking distance, we especially loved Phuzzy’s. It is not a resort area which was a plus in our opinion. Lots to do short drives away.
