We checked in just after 3 on April 11 for one night. Were told that the owner is terminally ill and his sons are "managing" the inn in his place. As a result, there is no breakfast. Instead, there's supposed to be a$25 per room discount. This was not communicated before our arrival. One of the reasons for staying in...

I sincerely apologize that you were disappointed in our change regarding breakfast service at the Inn. We reached out to all our guests who had upcoming reservations, on Wed April 5, to offer a choice, to either cancel the reservation with no penalty or to keep the reservation and accept our credit of $25 per night, so that guests could...

We spent two nights in the Happiness Suite and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Peace and Plenty, as well as our fabulous room. It was peaceful, centrally located, friendly, inviting, and utterly charming. We have decided to make our trip an annual one, and intend to stay at the Peace and Plenty for every visit.

My fiance (and now my wife) spent our wedding weekend here and we loved it. The owner was super accommodating and our suite was clean when we got there, and cleaned daily by the cleaning staff to a high standard. It is located "literally" within 5 minutes walking distance of every important location in St. Augustine. Next time we vacation...

We stayed one night in the Serendipity Suite which was just charming! The bed was very comfortable and we loved the Jacuzzi. There are so many interesting little things to look at throughout this historic B & B. Location is great-- an easy walk to the sights and shopping. Breakfast was yummy--fresh fruit cup, scrambled eggs in puff pastry and...

awesome place for a short vacation....beautiful setting with lovely landscaping. An outside fireplace kept us toasty in the evening, sharing a drink under the trees on very comfortable outside furniture. The breakfast was the BEST, beautifully presented in the dining area, which is decorated with treasures from all over the world. Flagler College and many other area attractions are within...

My husband I stayed for two nights in the Serendipity Suite. The suite was very clean. The weather turned cool, so I appreciated that there were extra blankets available in the closet. The security system for the exterior doors was convenient, but effective. The ambiance of the parlor and dining room are exquisite. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing in...

We spent 2 nights at Peace & Plenty at the end of our Florida holiday. It is perfectly situated in the heart of the historic centre so you don't need your car, you can walk everywhere. We had the Nirvana suite which is part of the coach house building, it was cosy & quiet with a huge walk-in shower &...

Our suite was comfortable, very clean and quiet! Breakfast was a gourmet treat, well prepared and beautifully presented. Glenna our hostess, was extremely helpful while not being intrusive. Location was ideal, we walked everyplace with ease.lastly it was delightful to return in late afternoon to find a frig full of soda, beer and wine as well as a appetizing array...

My husband and I stayed there this week for vacation. The staff was extremely friendly and breakfast was wonderful. Our room was the Happiness Suite. It was very small and intimate. We're used to a king size bed that is quite soft and comfy, so we had a little difficulty getting comfortable in the smaller firmer bed. Other than that,...

My Wife and I have stayed at several B&B's in St. Augustine over the years and the Peace and Plenty ranks as one of the best. Very clean. Wine and pastries out most of the day. Excellent breakfast. Free soda and beer in the fridge. Adequate parking. The location cannot be beat for downtown attractions. Do not hesitate to book...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Inn is located in the very heart of the historic district and steps away from three of the most important landmarks in St. Augustine FL: the Alcazar Hotel, circa 1880 (now the Lightner Museum), the Ponce de Leon Hotel, circa 1888 (now Flagler College), and the Hotel Cordova, circa 1887 (now the Casa Monica Hotel). A two block stroll will take you to the Ancient City's center and Plaza de la Constitution. Retreat into our quiet neighborhood or walk downtown and bask in the city's vibrant nightlife. Guests enjoy the best of both worlds without sacrificing ease of access for quiet repose. Our lovely walled garden is the ultimate in romance. It features fountains and a cozy pergola with propane fire pit. ... more   less
