We were pleasantly surprised to find spacious sites in a coastal campground. Yes, the roads are not paved, but that's the charm....more like "old" Florida. The little fishing area on the "river" side of the campground has so much character, and a little restaurant on site!

We were pleased to find sites that were fairly private and well spaced, unlike so many private campgrounds in coastal areas that sneeze in as many units as possible. Since we are self contained, we never used the bathroom facilities, but the laundromat facilities were well kept, and there were three different ones to choose from. A nice location for...

The campground is very nice. The one thing we hated most was the sandy roads through the campground. You can't walk anywhere without coming back with nasty feet. Other than that the sites are large, pool is nice, and the walk across the street to the beach is great!

Beautiful sites with cool foliage between them, the sand was neat (although it was kind of messy in the rain). Unfortunately, we did not get one of the particularly nice sites, it was a pull through but it was very open to the folks around and right on a corner that didn't have any of the feel of the others....

Just leaving and had an amazing trip! We loved having the beach so close and the river on the other side for fishing. The pool area was really nice to have as well. This was our first trip to St Augustine and the city was so beautiful. Took our boys to the Pirate Museum and that was great! Someone tried...

On river, ocean, for fishing, etc., walking distance to three good restaurants, pool, most sites are good size, and semi-private due to trees. Staff is helpful when needed, and price is fair. Wish they had garbage pickup since dumpsters are far from sites to walk to. Also has a bait shop adjoining park, and main office has a good supply...

The location of this campground is wonderful. It is near historic St Augustine, beach is across the street, and river in back of campground. We reserved for the week. At check in, we were given a code for the gate with instructions not to follow a vehicle through or the gate would come down on our vehicle and we would...

The sites are very pretty and peaceful with live oaks shading the area. There is a nice heated pool, along with shuffleboard, a basketball court, and a mediocre playground. Unfortunately, there are no fire pits and open fires are not allowed. The beach is across the street with free parking if you stay at the campground. Unfortunately, Hurricane Matthew has...

Great spot. Short walk across the street to the ocean for swim, or fishing inlet. Clean and quiet place with two great restaurants on the property. Plenty to do in St Augustine only a 10 min drive. We have been there twice and planning to go there again in July.

This place is unique in that it lies between two bodies of water. We love the location. There are restaurants in walking distance. The camping sights are great in that they are spread out and each is separate due to trees and vegetation so you feel like you are in your own little world. The downside is the restrooms and...
