Our stay was from Feb.2017 to March 2017. This is not our first visit here. Why we continue to go back is beyond me. Location ? Price ? don't know . All the rooms smell ! When I get home, I have to wash all my clothes with white vinegar to get that mold smell out of them. Rooms are...

For location, proximity to the water, this is quite good. For the size and condos, I was able to visit, I would say below average. If looking for good weather conditions during winter, this is doable.

This is a quaint motel where each room is independently owned, therefore rooms are taking care of and in different shape. The room we were booked in was not the same room as on my invoice, but after arriving and walking through, we returned the keys and left since there it is not staffed 24 hrs. I attempted to call...

My husband's family has been coming here since the 70's. We got to go for the first time and had the time of our lives. The hotel was quaint and perfect. Had everything we needed with a no frills approach. This was great because we were barely in our condo. But we did host our daughter's 1st BDay in the...

August 2015 for 3 days. - Unit #1 had a distinct smell. The airhandler is in the main bedroom closet and is very noisy. There is no dishwasher and the place needed a through cleaning and painting. We moved furniture and there was thick dust and trash. Bathroom shower was held by plastic ties. However the pool was nice and...

My husband visited this weekend. We have stayed at Monterey several times and are always pleased. as a Florida Native I love the nostalgia and find it very sad that other guests do not appreciate just how charming this place is. The location is fantastic, the manager is wonderful and the pool is just fine. There is a nice restaurant...

When I stayed the room itself was okay, but the beds were uncomfortable and the dishwasher sounds like a jet engine. They claim that the pool is heated but the water is freezing. Some of the grills have cigarettes in them. I could have done better.

I reviewed The Monterey last year. We had met there for many years for a quick family weekend during summer. Sadly it is time for us to move on and find another location for our traditional summer getaway with extended family. The Monterey is starting to slide in the other direction; given that each room is individually owned, it is...

My husband and I met some friends to stay at the condo's for a week. We stayed in room 20..BEWARE..the rooms are individual owned. Our friends room was decent and they had stayed there previously. We had not. The room was very, very outdated and looked like nothing had been replaced since the 80's. It is obvious the owner does not...

This place has some perks but way too many negatives. It's not directly on the beach but a very short walk. The pool is heated and clean. And the price was good. But all the furniture had a bad odor. The parking lot is tiny. One car per room so they told us we could either park at the over...
