Stayed in the Gentlemans Lounge on the first floor. Filled with baseball memorabilia from many years past, this room proved most interesting to my husband. Loved the cozy robes provided. A true step back in time.

By far one of the best bed and breakfast at ever been at. Clean, beautiful and very well manicured not to mention the fact that the gentleman who owns the place served us hand and foot. He is a total people person and you will have not only a great stay but good conversations with him. We felt like we...

The house was restored by the owners and has a fascinating history. The rooms were lovely. A few minor things that keep it from being great--the hot water took FOREVER to reach the room. All that restoration does not come inexpensively though. The hosts are grand people and we enjoyed our stay. All in all, a neat experience.

I had the privilege of going to the Mc Farlin House for my Birthday. I had Havana,Fl. on my bucket list for at least 20yrs. There are no places in Havana so Quincy is only 12 miles away. The B&B was lovely. We stayed in the "Gentleman's Quarters" room. The weather was chilly and the room had a wonderful gas...

My wife and I have been in B&B's before especially in the oldest town in the USA. We've expected that these would be the best, we were wrong. The McFarlin house surpasses all. This home was not just gorgeous but the hospitality was a warm as the home itself.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely B&B in Louise's Loft, a room on the third floor with Tiffany stained glass above the bed. The breakfast was very good; we had fresh fruit, pastries, a breakfast sandwich, and bacon with choice of beverage. Would recommend getting one of their packages for special occasions--the strawberries with chocolate fondue and sparkling...

Years ago we learned that our vacations needed to be more than just about the destination, they needed to be about experiencing every moment in between. Staying in a restored mansion in the deep south, provides that more than any hotel can. From the extravagant breakfast to the amenities, there truly is nothing like it. We have come back for...

The McFarlin House was the best place to spend the night before my wedding. I stayed in "Sunny's Charm" which was a great room for a single or a couple for a couple of nights. It, and a couple of the other rooms are on the 3rd floor and the steps are a little narrower in the early 1900's house......

What a fantastic place to stay, hidden away in Quincy, Florida! Gorgeous and comfortable. The interior is stunning and the details are amazing. Breakfast was also wonderful. We'll definitely stay here again!

The McFarlin House is such a fabulous place to get away that I practically don't want to share this secret. Quincy, 16 miles down the road from Tallahassee is an adorable small town with 100 mansions. The history is jaw dropping. How did these small town people get so rich? Richard and Tina who own the McFarlin House have restored...
