They first put us in a room with no window. I don't know why but I feel the room should have a window. With a little waiting and conversing they changed our room (at first they wanted to charge me an extra $50 a night to have a room with a window). The second night they booked a party in...

I apologize for the fact that any part of your stay was disappointing. When booking directly through our staff we explain the differences about our rooms. Third party booking is less thorough. I am very glad to hear our staff was accommodating to your needs during checkout, and I do hope if you decide to visit Port St. Joe again,...

Most nearby places require a three-night stay. The Port Inn was an excellent overnight stay at a reasonable price. There's not much to do in Port St. Joe. (no mall, etc.) But the Inn provides bicycles. A half mile trip to the downtown main drag works out well. I enjoyed the pool also. The breakfast was unbelievable, not just a...

We booked what was advertised a "Bayview" cottage. Not even close. The cottages sit right on (very busy) the main road with minimal setback, and the rear view is the alley with trash cans and back up to commercial buildings. The view across the street is a Hungry Howie' pizza place and a cycle shop. The bedrooms are so small...

I'm sorry you feel the advertising was misleading. The Bayview Port Cottages are named thus because they are on 98 Highway (the bay view side) as opposed to the Port Cottages which are located further back on 71 Highway. The price structure is because they are full 2 bedroom houses with 1 and 1/2 baths, and fully stocked kitchens that...

There is a reason that hoteliers are considered members of the hospitality business, and the people who own/run this hotel lack any concept of hospitality. They were consistently rude and even our simplest requests (a cup of coffee in the morning) were ill-received and not provided. Stay somewhere else.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Will stay here again if we return to the area. Room was comfortable but not very special. We stayed in the Garden Suite and there was no view at all, but still we enjoyed our breakfasts and the staff was very friendly.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying at the Port Inn several times now and will continue to stay there whenever we are in town. The biggest draw for us is the people who work there. The friendly staff make all the difference in the world. One of these days we will use one of the bicycles...

Stopped in to eat their breakfast which is a buffet all you can eat. They will cook eggs to order but not an omelette. Reasonable price of $10. Free I think for guests. Port St Joe doesn't have any real choices for breakfast. All you can eat bacon is always good

There is nothing worse than traveling all day and getting to your destination and then you are kept awake all night long by the hotel ac unit. Do not stay in room 105 if you are a light sleeper. Not only is the ac loud but it also has a metal rattle sound going on inside. The room is also...

I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. We are in the process of updating all of our air conditioning units, but unfortunately rooms 105 and 107, as well as our bar are the last few we have left to upgrade. I am glad to hear that our bartender was friendly. We would be more...

I liked this place and will be back. Depositions brought me to this place on a Wednesday and then again the next Sunday. I was in room 107 the first night. They warned me it was small and I might get noise from the bar. The noise I got was from the air conditioner. It let out a stentorian rattle...

A quaint place. Rooms clean. Bed comfortable. Liked the front & back door on suite. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Hen & rooster hangs around, liked them! Forgot their names. Thirsty Goat bar good place for cocktails. There's bicycles you can ride, & some are built for two. Would stay again.
