Wow! The reviews for this place are all over the map. I am happy to report that my husband and I had a great experience at Lighthouse Cove. Yes. It is true it is an older resort and that some updates are needed, but they are in the middle of renovations now. Admittedly, I was a little leery when my... More

Fun place, for the most part well kept. Bathrooms can use some updating to showers but kitchens are well stocked and updated. Pool is well maintained and great location to the beach. The pool deck could use more tables and umbrellas but there are plenty of lounge chairs for the guests. Love the daily live music at the TIKI bar!

Spent almost a week there but had to leave due to bad weather(thanks Mathew). Older building under an exterior facelift. Interior rooms in very good condition considering the age. Has everything you need for a week stay except S&P, sugar. Plenty of places to eat on Rt. 1, grocery shopping about 2 miles away. Pool and hot tub are clean... More

When we booked this property we got a message that upgrading construction was being conducted at our reservation date. We called the property and they told us that the construction was on the patios installing new safer handrails. Also, the construction was during the day and not bother people at night. Well, that was true! We had use of our... More

This was our 3rd time and the worse. They are working on the outside so one morning without any warning there was a worker on the balcony! When you walked into the unit it smelled. There was a rip in the sofa so you couldn't sit on half of the sofa. When there was hot water to take a shower... More

Made it to the tiki bar Saturday night after a day at the beach. We sat at the bar while a pretty good crowd for karaoke was in fine form. We ordered mahi sandwiches blackened which were so spicy, we couldn't eat them. I had fried clams which were over cooked or better said, over fried. One of the Mahi... More

This resort needed renovation years ago. The exterior is very shabby in places. We were pleasantly surprised by our unit, 521. We had 1 bedroom and two baths. It had clearly been upgraded and we were very comfortable there. The bed was very comfortable, the baths were large. One had a shower and one a tub. Decent linens. The kitchen... More

Stayed in 4 person efficiency with sofa bed and murphy bed. Great rate. Beds were better than expected. Room was just what we needed. Kitchen was updated and clean. Resort was awesome. Restaurant was great. View was fabulous. Pool/tiki bar very fun. Would definitely stay here again. The only issue we had was due to outside construction underway (which we... More

If it weren't for the fact that money is tight these days I would have booked another place that is descent. The money I paid in advance for a weeks stay here was like money down the toilet. The entire place needs severe remodeling. The place stinks everywhere. Almost like your located in a landfill. There is no housekeeping, unless... More

Recently stayed at LHC. When making the reservation over the phone I would have appreciated a heads up regarding the concrete restoration project going on. Atleast the jackhammering only went on from 9am to 4pm. I could not imagine staying in one of the rooms in the main building with the work going on. Relaxing by the pool is always... More
