The Tarpon Lodge is a fabulous place to stay and we can not wait to return. This was our second visit. It is truly a hidden gem on Pine Island. Our room was on the second floor with a great view. No elevator is in this particular building but that was clearly disclosed. Had drinks by the pool-lovely service by...

My wife and I stayed here one night for our anniversary. We will probably spend some more anniversaries here. Lodging and restaurant staff are very professional, friendly and courteous. When we checked into our room (Queen bed with water view) in the stilt house we found an awesome view awaiting us. There was a romantic postcard with a very touching...

We arrived here for lunch to check out the place prior to making a reservation for Christmas Day. Walking around the harbour and in through the garden we came to a screened verandah. We were seated quickly and our server brought us menus. Ian chose the fish special with green beans and I selected the chef's house special salad with...

Brought the boat over from the east coast and fished several days in Pine Island. What a wonderful getaway. The rooms were clean and comfortable with excellent views. The boat ramp was located a short drive away and tying the boat at the docks was simple. We will certainly be coming back for another stay!

The food and general atmosphere were pleasant enough, however the waiter attending to us gave the impression that we were keeping him from something more important. We dined at 8 pm and the restaurant stops serving at 9 so possibly if you ate early you may get better service. Would not recommend this restaurant as it was overpriced and a...

We arrived for a one night stay, warm welcome from reception. Quickly oriented to the lodge, and we were off to our room (Sanibel). We chose to stay in the main lodge so our room was right above the restaurant, very convenient. The lodge has a marina and pool, very nice and be sure go out to the docks for...

Pleasant service. Food was fair. Signature soup crap/corn chowder was disappointingly served only warm. Had the quesadilla and fish tacos. We found the food to be under seasoned. Lemon water tasted funky.

Thank you for your review, our signature corn chowder should have been served hot, if it was not we apologize. We have let our General Manager know of the issues you had while dining. Hopefully you will come out and visit us again.

It's a bit out of the way and a bit rustic and old but it is a great place to go. We stayed here several nights and could not have been more pleased. Our room overlooked the bay with crisp calm beautiful mornings and bright gorgeous sunsets. Our room was not large but had a comfortable queen bed, a place...

The restaurant is helpful and careful with food allergies, has an excellent selection for lunch, great friendly service, nice white porch and good views. Bring your out of town guests here! Allow extra time to watch the pelicans diving for fish. A delightful taste of old Florida.

This is an old property, dating back to the 20's, so the main house is creaky and stairs are steep (upper floors not handicapped accessible) but it's clean. The downside is the bar/restaurant is centrally located so all bedrooms on that floor are subjected to the noise level of the bar. Some nights quiet, others loud. Continental breakfast is offered...
