Tarpon Lodge is a bit off the beaten track. We stopped by on a drive through Pine Island for some drinks and a dessert. The Key Lime Pie was one of the best I've ever had. Drinks were enjoyable. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We decided to brave the heat to enjoy the lovely view from the screened in... More

Went on a sightseeing adventure on pine island and when we looked around for a place to have lunch there weren't many options but sure glad we found this one. We had already planned to eat at one of my favorite Italian restaurant in Ft Myers, Cibo so wanted something light but not a hot dog! This is out there... More

We rated Tarpon Lodge a 4 star just based on ambience. The only thing we experienced here was coffee in the bar area. Tarpon Lodge was on our list of things to do when we decided to make a day trip to Pine Island from our vacation condo in Fort Myers Beach, just to check it out, on April 8,... More

I recently was on Pine Island for work, and stayed at the Tarpon Lodge. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, rooms clean and cozily decorated. The sunset views alone make the place worth the stay and then you add in the pool, myriad of yard games available, and the beautifully manicured lawns and it's picture perfect. I ate at... More

Pine Island is close to the bustle, but here you feel like you are someplace exotic. Well kept up lodge with big rooms and well maintained grounds. Boat dock on premises. Small pool but clean. Great spots for watching the sun go down. Unless you plan to be in your room a lot, save a bundle and get an inside... More

My husband and I went for a drive to Pine Island and ended up having lunch at the Tarpon Lodge. The staff was fantastic and we could not have asked for a better view. We watched the boats and a storm come in. The food was amazing. My husband had the Cuban sandwich and said it is by far the... More

I hesitate to write this review as I may be shooting myself in the foot. So, consequently, I’m not revealing our room number as I want it to be available when I return. For years we’ve talked about staying at the Tarpon Lodge; but, just never got around to it. Recently we had lunch on Cabbage Key and the paper... More

We ended up eating here, only because I opened up the Trip Advisor app and was looking for a restaurant with good reviews. This place is hidden, really hidden. If not for Trip Advisor we would have never found it, and would have not gone in to check it out. This place was wonderful. The staff very friendly and the... More

The Tarpon Lodge is so well maintained it might be a movie set. The rolling green lawns, palm trees swaying in the breeze, lots of quiet, still water, blue sky. I chose it for our week long family reunion (57 of us) because I wanted my family to get a taste of old Florida. This place is the opposite of... More

Beautiful and peaceful setting with lovely, clean rooms. Old Florida style and charm with modern amenities. If you want t get away from everything and recharge, this is a great choice. The restaurant offers first-rate dining without being formal. Whether you want to stay a few nights or just have a special meal this is a great choice.
