We made a reservation for one night but after seeing the location we decided to extend our stay. Nice campground with 2 swimming pools. On walking distance to the sea. Ladies in the reception were very friendly and helpfull. Campground has a lot of trees to have some shade. Restrooms were very clean. Missed some pillows on the sunbeds.

Campground is ok. Bathrooms were only cleaned once a week. Not too busy, so would not have hurt an employee to step in & clean floors / sinks once a day. Male worker outside pretending to rake outside was arguing with someone on his cell phone for well over an HR while we were trying to relax by pool. He...

I wish we would have known that this place was full, full, full of cats before we booked & paid in full. Our first site was near the office & they squeezed us into a site right next to a big rig with slides that extended onto our site. Little did we know that the cats (who are fed by...

Could not have brought in 2017 in a better place. The people were so welcoming. The campground is extra clean. In walking distance to the beach.. Dollar General...restaurant. Pet Friendly. If you have children this facility offers many activities with in eye sight of your camping site. Full hookup with great wifi and cable reception. Needless to say I did...

Great location and sites were big enough for easy set up. Three minute walk to the beach and the County Pier out the back road was great. Nice restaurants near by and easy in and out. Super good cajun restaurant just down the road. A must do.

After checking in, I came back to the desk to inquire about the military or senior discount (I qualify for either) and with my military ID in my hand was told, "we give discounts for cash sales only". "I said, that's not what your park paper says. It says' we offer discounts to military and senior citizens." The lady said,...

Nice staff, clean restrooms, clean laundry room. Shaded, easy access full hook-up sites 30 and 50amp service. Two beautiful pools well tended with lounge chairs to relax while kids swim, Beaches within walking distance, and plenty of shopping nearby. There is also a huge waterpark within walking distance.

Raccoon River is a beautiful campground. You do not have to worry because everyone looks out for the other person. The bathrooms are very clean, the grounds are well kept. The management prior was very nice and really did several upgrades to the park. She worked well with the campers on getting their preferred sites. However, the new management is...
