We stayed here for 5 nights on site 15. The site is waterside with a nice area to launch our kayaks right from the site. The restrooms/showers are very clean and new. The beaches here are very nice. Lots of roads for bike riding or just walking around. Very close to everything in town. I recommend a paddle out to...

First time camping here! Woke up every morning and threw a fishing line in while cooking breakfast...Not many place can you do that. Bathrooms and showers were always clean. Got great pictures of the deer and other animals that were 5 feet from you. Had a squirrel come around every morning for breakfast. The first morning he jumped up on...

Most of the camp sites on north by the bay is water front and accessible, so if you have kayak etc, this works great, also dogs can dip in without anyone caring. Some days water (bay) was bit too dirty for anyone to walk into. Ocean side was bit far from camp site to walk but has large parking areas,...

We are somewhat local but absolutely love this park. I am a family and wedding photographer and it is also one of my favorite locations for family portraits. The park consists of camping, a lagoon side beachy area, a long beach next to the jetties (large rocks protecting the pass), a boat ramp that easily accesses the pass, and even...

St Andrews state park is one of the best state parks we have ever been to. We have been there many times and will continue to go for many more years. It is even a great place in the off season. The beach is beautiful and the ferry to shell island is well worth the price.

This state park is at the most southeastern end of Thomas Drive which dead ends there. Admission is the Florida State Park standard of $4 for one person but $8 for a vehicle with up to 8 people. This park has stretches of white sandy, uncrowded beaches on the gulf side, a protected beach and jetty on it's easternmost end,...

We were able to go to the pier and see some fishing. There was beach access and clean restrooms. We also went to alligator park, but we did not see any alligators. There was many other animals to see, birds, deer and turtles. Then we drove over to the marina and boat launch. We talked with some fisherman and walked...

We camped here for 7 nights in July. It is a beautiful campground with lots of palm trees and pine trees.lots of shade but it was still a scorcher! The beach breeze doesn't reach the campground. The lots on the lagoon are amazing. The beach is at least a five minute car ride. Bathhouse were nice and clean. I didn't...

Sites were large and shaded. Huge fire rings with wood to purchase at store. Convenient access to beach and marsh. Clean facilities with spacious hot showers. 4 minutes from the heart of the city. Family activities available. This was a great experience!!!

FL state parks are either modern and beautiful or in need of updating. St Andrews is in need of updating. The bathrooms were nice and kept clean. We camped in a 35' fifth wheel. The site we reserved was listed for 35'. Since the sites are not angled for backing in there was no way we were going to get...

“Grab one of the 'Lagoon' sites directly on the bay - the site can be larger and obviously, the views incredible. We were there 3 times before Katrina and the boys liked the trees roots in the water the best. Least liked - Pine Grove, the crowded western corner site.”
