We love it here!! It is a great place to bring your children. Love all the wildlife we get to see. The raccoons on the beach are our favorite. Love love love the snorkeling and all the shells we find. Very peaceful and fun!!

We had fled St. Augustine from the hurricane and the staff here took great care of us. The campsites had new bathhouse and the water was hot! Lots of families here. Great place to bring your camper. The deer walk right up to you and the beach was a short car ride away!

Absolutely beautiful park. You can bike, hike, swim, boat and fish without leaving the park. The staff is friendly. They have a store on site, bait, fishing licenses. They rent canoes, bikes, kayaks, pontoon boats. They have cruises to Shell Island. Will definitely camp there again.

They charge you to enter the park to get on the shuttle to Shell Island. It's $8.00 to get in the park and then $19.50 for the shuttle! Big rip off. Won't be taken in by them again. They want feedback, and they will get it.

The Park as always is wonderful, however the FWC and Cops are not out to keep you safe.... This year like a few years back the Hassel Game is back on. Be prepare to get stopped, hassled, get checked, and be made to think you are doing something wrong when the decent folks are just trying to enjoy the Park....

We stayed here for 5 nights on site 15. The site is waterside with a nice area to launch our kayaks right from the site. The restrooms/showers are very clean and new. The beaches here are very nice. Lots of roads for bike riding or just walking around. Very close to everything in town. I recommend a paddle out to...

First time camping here! Woke up every morning and threw a fishing line in while cooking breakfast...Not many place can you do that. Bathrooms and showers were always clean. Got great pictures of the deer and other animals that were 5 feet from you. Had a squirrel come around every morning for breakfast. The first morning he jumped up on...

Most of the camp sites on north by the bay is water front and accessible, so if you have kayak etc, this works great, also dogs can dip in without anyone caring. Some days water (bay) was bit too dirty for anyone to walk into. Ocean side was bit far from camp site to walk but has large parking areas,...

We are somewhat local but absolutely love this park. I am a family and wedding photographer and it is also one of my favorite locations for family portraits. The park consists of camping, a lagoon side beachy area, a long beach next to the jetties (large rocks protecting the pass), a boat ramp that easily accesses the pass, and even...

St Andrews state park is one of the best state parks we have ever been to. We have been there many times and will continue to go for many more years. It is even a great place in the off season. The beach is beautiful and the ferry to shell island is well worth the price.

Thank Terri S

“Grab one of the 'Lagoon' sites directly on the bay - the site can be larger and obviously, the views incredible. We were there 3 times before Katrina and the boys liked the trees roots in the water the best. Least liked - Pine Grove, the crowded western corner site.”
