We stayed at the Rosen International whilst on our holiday in October 2019, it was perfect for us. We requested a top floor pool view room which we got. The rooms are spacious - plenty of room for just the two of us, and would easily fit a family in! Room comes with a kitchenette area with a microwave, coffee machine, fridge, ice bucket and storage - the coffee was replenished every day as where fresh towels. Location wise this was a perfect spot for us, we could walk to universal studios - took us about 40 mins. We where able to hop on the iride to get to the outlets and seaworld and aquatica and we walked to restaurants and to the Walmart (uber back from walmart only a few dollars!!) We ate in the hotel restaurant for breakfast twice as we had free vouchers and it was great for a quick snack. We used uber to get to florida and disney and it was not expensive. We have looked at other hotels and options for our return trip in 2022 and to be honest we have agreed that we will be staying at the Rosen International again which we can't wait for.

My wife and I stayed at the Rosen Inn International 1st to 10th February 2020. We have stayed there a number of times on previous trips. We had reached out to the hotel in advance of our visit to request a ground floor room in building 1. They were able to accommodate this request.

The hotel is of a good standard with decent on site facilities. The room is basic but is the cleanest and freshest we have enjoyed at this level. A fridge, microwave and safe are all provided and worked without incident. No kettle, but we take our own, but coffee machine topped up with supplies on a daily basis. The shower was spotless and a joy to use after a day at the parks or the shopping complexes.
Room cleaning is carried out every day and from our experience, swiftly and efficiently. Daily cleaning is becoming rarer with some hotels only doing this on every third day. I noticed room checks being carried out after the room cleaning, another good sign.

The whole complex was neat and well kept. The pools were clean, plenty of towels. In some hotels, there are numerous corn plasters and other treasures littering the pool bottom. We did use the Tops Turvey Lounge and enjoyed a few cold ones - the bar had a nice ambience about it. Nice to chill out after a day in the sun, the shops or the parks.

Will we stay in this hotel again, yes, no problem. For the price, the facilities are good, location central on I-Drive particularly if you don't drive and want a good selection of eateries within walking distance.

Oh and the coffee from the Lite Bite hit the mark - again.

This establishment is directly on the Lynx bus route. Conveniently located on International Drive. Only problem was finding the lobby. It is not when you first drive in. It is down a long walkway, and if you are not paying attention to the signage you will never find it. This entire hotel is a maze. I took me 10 minutes to find the stairs that led to my room, and then I had to figure out which hallway to take ...this was very annoying to say the least. The front desk was very professional and helpful .. until she informed me there were a $100 deposit due. I was not aware of a deposit since when I booked the room online, before my arrival, the website stated all funds were paid and nothing to be collected at the location. So just be aware that if you book your room through a third party, ie, Booking.com, please make sure all fees and deposits are accounted for beforehand, so no $100 surprises when you arrive on site. The room itself which included a microwave and refrigerator was very clean and adequate. The bed was comfortable and the linen was soft and not worn or thin. Overall good stay.

I have just came back from our 4th stay at this hotel since 2007. We have always returned to this hotel because of its location and the hotel was always clean and had friendly staff. The rooms are still clean and cleaned well by housekeeping. The rooms are perhaps a little outdated, having not been refitted for many years, however they are still fit for purpose.

The friendliness of the staff has however in my opinion gone down hill. We had to get mail from reception which had been delivered to the hotel for us. So we had to visit the reception. We got served by a lady the same time a few times. We couldn’t catch her name as her name badge was covered. She was young and had long red hair. I would never normally point out individual staff but this lady in my opinion should not be on a customer facing role. She was very rude the few times we had to speak to her. Everything seemed to be a chore and effort to her and it was written all over her face.

We were also woken up twice by staff in the early hours of the morning. Both by security, once delivering bed sheets and the other tissues, they came to our room by mistake on both occasions as we had not requested anything. One of these was 1am!

The pool is heated in the winter which is good and plenty of clean towels to use. The outside of the hotel is well maintained also. They also listened to our requests for a pool facing room.

The hotel is pretty large, with I think over 700 rooms. We were in one of the two story buildings without an elevator, but I had no trouble at all bringing luggage up the steps. They were wide and many different stairwells so always one close to the room.

We stayed five nights over a holiday weekend, and were originally given a room that faced towards the parking. I am a very light sleeper and was concerned with the noise of people loading up into cars to go to the parks early, so requested they swap us to a courtyard facing room, which they happily did.

The AC worked perfectly, and despite the heat outside we were comfortable in the room. The bed was honestly one of the absolute best hotel beds I have ever slept in, and I travel extensively for work, so I've slept in a lot!

There were two pools, and despite it being a busy holiday weekend we were easily able to swim and relax, it was nice there were two so we could check them and pick the quieter pool at the time.

The buffet restaurant was not yet re-opened after COVID, but the shop with small snacks and pizzas was. We got a pizza because their website said they were famous for them, we ended up tossing it. That was the only thing that wasn't perfect for our stay!

As others have mentioned, they are not doing daily housekeeping right now, due to COVID19. Whenever we needed anything we called down and they ran it up to us within a few minutes, even late at night. It really made no difference to our stay to not have our beds made every day.

This isn't a luxury resort, there is no mini-bar, no room service, etc. That shouldn't be expected at a 3 star hotel, particularly one with such low rates. So I am quite baffled why I am seeing reviews give low stars for that. This is a wonderful hotel with expansive grounds and two good sized pools, it served its purpose perfectly, gave us a clean comfortable place to sleep at night, and nice cool pools to spend the heat of the day in. I don't think we will ever stay anywhere else when we return to universal studios!

This was my first time in Florida where I stayed outside of Disney and this hotel didn't disappoint. The rooms are spacey and comfortable and it was nice to have a different TV channel choice than Disney!
Breakfast was buffet style and very nice with lots of choice. The staff were really lovely in there. We also had a buffet dinner in there one evening which was ok, but not much choice for veggies/vegans.
Both pools are really nice with plenty of sun loungers and you can just grab a towel from there.
It's in a great location, you just walk to the road to get the bus or the hotel offers a shuttle to Universal but this needs to be booked in advance and gets full very quickly. We couldn't use it on our first day and tbh, we got around using Ubers mostly.
I'd stay here again, it's a fraction of the cost compared to previous Orlando holidays.

We stayed at the the Rosen international hotel for 10 nights as part of a package with British airways. We wanted somewhere clean and comfortable but not expensive, knowing we would be in the parks all day and just needed somewhere to wash and sleep.

The room was a good size and we were able to pick whether we wanted a room on the ground floor or higher up, we went for the fifth floor of a six storey block. There were several blocks similar or two storey blocks. There are plenty of lifts. The rooms are quite dark, you can open the curtains to let light in but anyone walking passed can see in, although it wasn’t like there was a lot of people walking passed. Despite the dark wood and feel it was freshly painted and clean. The bathroom had a shower over the bath, always plenty of hot water. An iron and ironing board were provided, as well as a decent hairdryer and a microwave (which we didn’t use). The beds were comfortable and appeared to be two queen/double beds.

We opted for the breakfast daily. It was the same each day but plentiful and a decent quality buffet option.

We only got to the pool twice, once when we arrived and before we returned home following check out. The pool was cleaned early morning and it and the grounds are well looked after. Towels are provided at the pool side. Pool is open late too.

The staff allowed us to store our luggage at the lobby after the 11am check out, in a room used by a lot of people doing the same, by the looks of it, all secure. So we then paid use of the loungers.

There is a shop onsite which was handy but the petrol garage near by was cheaper for water. Gated car park with free parking which was great.

All staff helpful and polite.

Close to plenty of restaurants. Better located for universal than Disney. We only visited Disney this time and used Uber to visit the parks which cost between 15-26 dollars each way. We had a car for two days to visit places further a field but the 25 dollar parking charge for the Disney parks seemed excessive on top of tickets and genie plus so we were happy to get ubers.

Free wifi throughout stay, but dropped out at times. It’s better to get a tourist sim for use during stay particularly if visiting the parks.

We are unlikely to return to Orlando, mainly because we have been twice and have other places to go. However I would stay again at Rosen if we were visiting again.

The rooms are accessed from the central garden area and are comfortable and well equipped. There is a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room and a good sized safe.
Rooms are clean and have air conditioning.
Breakfast is available with a limited selection. Dinner is also offered but of a basic standard. There is a shop on site which is reasonably priced and he staff are pleasant and helpful.
A shuttle is available to Epcot but beware as the buses have no indication of where they are going and the drivers did not make any effort to pick up passengers who do not directly approach them. I waited in the correct place in good time but the bus pulled up on the wrong driveway and collected the people who happened to be standing right next to it and drove off without saying where it was going or asking if anybody else was waiting for the but to Epcot. They charge $17 for the return trip and it cost me another $17:20 to get a taxi instead. The condition of their vehicles is very poor dirty and with split seats. It's better to get an Uber cab or one of the busses which run along International Drive and are very economical.

I booked this room for my parents so they could join us in Universal for a day. It was perfect for them! They used the complimentary shuttle and thought the breakfast was well worth $8. If you are going to use the shuttle, be sure to talk with the front desk as it gets packed in the morning and when the parks close...you'll want to have your spots saved! I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay off property
