We have a camper and do a lot of campground camping. This was our first stay at Disney FW. We stayed at the campground at the end of August. Our site was lovely; it was a premium site near the main pool area. The pool...More
We had a great few days at the Fort. Very clean facilities, large campsites and very organized area. There are buses and a ferry that takes you to the Magic Kingdom. The ferry was very convenient. They had a nice pool area although the whirlpool...More
I am typically not a big camper, but enjoyed visiting friends at the campgrounds. The comfort stations were very clean and include shower stalls (bring your own bath products and towels) as well as bathrooms. The sites were clean and provided picnic tables and full...More
This place is ABSOLUTELY amazing. Staff is SO friendly and inviting. You will feel like your home! The spots are clean. I use a pop-up but spots for tent camping are nice too. The "comfort" stations aka bathrooms are always clean and walking distance away....More
This was our second time to visit Fort Wilderness and it never disappoints. Easy access to the parks and fantastic campsites. It is a must to rent a golf cart to get around because this is a very large campground and it can take awhile...More

We took our large dog- chocolate lab to the Best Friends Pet Care for doggie day care. The price was very reasonable and ensured that our dog didn't drive camping neighbors crazy. It gave us the option to spend all day at the park without worrying about food, water, potty breaks or nuisance barking. Then picked her up in the evening to spend with us. The facility is about 5 mins from the gate to the campground. They opened an hour before the parks and stayed open an hour post park closure. We took toys and food. She squealed with excitement on her second day when we pulled up to the facility. She had a blast and was definitely played out each evening. I would highly recommend them. On our last day- we had her groomed before pickup. They did a fabulous job.

We've been camping for in the 1500 loop (pop-ups and tents) in our 16 foot trailer, no problem. There are only two loops in this price range, however and they fill up fast. Also, they are the only two loops without sewer hook-ups, so depending on how long you are staying and how big your tanks are, you may have to honey pot it to a vacant sewer site. Unbelieveably they DO NOT have a dunp station. We are always instructed to pull into a vacant site that has a sewer to dump the tanks.
