This is a Motel 6 people in a bad area of Orlando close to Winter Park but is not in Winter Park. You can not expect much, but the Motel staff was friendly and helpful. Overall the property was clean. Pool was closed because of COVID though.
I really enjoyed my stay at Motel 6. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. The General Manager Troy was awesome. This was my first time visiting Orlando and He gave me some suggestion for places to eat and shop, which I was very pleased with. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.
Daytime staff and Manager guy very friendly and helpful. Clean room. Clean property. Ample well lit parking. Night security. Close to restaurants, gas station and a W Neighborhood market. Good location with easy access to I-4 . Good WiFi and Cable TV channel selection. Negatives; no elevator. Only 2 stories high though. Small room. No Housekeeping service thanks to COVID and pool close due to the Pandemic. Not all the rooms have a Microwave and MiniFridge. They charge extra for them. Overall I have no complaints.
We stay there just because all hotels near were full due to President·s Day weekend on February 2020. When you are in a hotel, you are supposed to stay in the room tiil the time you want, but housekeeping in this motel did not know this. They knocked at the door in a rude way, when we opened, the housekeeper requested AND EVEN DEMANDED US to leabe the room because she had to clean up the room and if we did not do that, she will not clean the room. We asked her to return in 10 minutes (JUST 10 MINUTES!), and she responded I do not know what bwcause she just spoje slang and English is not my native language. We wnt to front desk, as after the ten minutes, that concuerda lady dis not return. Management told us not to worry and that she will take care of the issue. We were on vacation, so as obvious we returned tired and late at nigt with the wish to rest, but SURPRISE! No soaps, no shampoos and just one of the beds made up, the other was not! I went to front desk to talk with a manager once more, but there was nobody responsible to solve the issue! One of the worst things os to enter your room and see your bed not made up, and WORST IN A HOTEL! Next day I claimed the issue to the manager and she told me that is a policy of the motel not to make up tje bed when there is a personal item on the bed, and in one bed were the pikamas and that was why they did not madke up the bed. i put my bed in my luggage as I do not want anybody to touch my pijama but there was no announcement anywhere in the room, not in frondesk about this absurd policy. The manager did not know what to tell me when she saw there was no announcement of this policy ANYWHERE AT THE HOTEL! Just an apology which did not solve our bad time here, not even a discount or anything as an appo,ogy. AVOID THIS HOTEL! They do not care Bout you, once you paid for the room, youndo not worth there!…
I know it is a motel 6 but this place was disappointing. No heat in the first room and trouble with the key card both days of my stay. The room I finally got was clean and the bed was comfortable. But there was no housekeeping and I had to go to the office to get fresh towels.
