I spent half of the 1000 nights for my lifetime Daimond status in this great resort. Since my youngest son Nico was born 14 years ago, we have been here every Christmas and New Year, except once after the 3rd or 4th heart operation. My wife and son are coming for 14 days over the Christmas holidays, I always fly a few weeks early and stay a few weeks longer. This time I was here from November 20, 2022 to January 18, 2023. The location of the resort was really great, right across from Sea World Orlando. We always buy annual tickets or the sea world fun card. The Sea World Funcard cost around 100 USD on Thanksgiving last year and is valid until the end of 2023, i.e. more than 1 year. The rental car prices have risen extremely after Corona, so I usually only rent for 1-2 days and always at short notice because the offers are often cheaper. In the meantime, if I have to go somewhere, I take the bus or trolley. The connections are very good and cheap and the stops are right in front of the resort. You can also take the public bus from the airport to the hotel, which takes a little longer but only costs $2 and stops diagonally across from the resort entrance. The resort is really beautifully laid out with a Caribbean flair. Lots of sports and entertainment options. Three pools, several whirlpools, fitness center, tennis courts, basketball court, billiards and table tennis, children's playground, and others. An activity center with xbox, computers, crafts, games, poolside with bingo, karaoke, various pool games, cinema theater and great staff, including Jeremy and George who have been there for a number of years. Great and friendly employees all over the resort, many of whom we have known for 10-14 years. For resort and gate security, with Mary Ann, Trisch, Petro, Roberto, Charles, Dustin and Alex 1 and Alex 2, the latter both from Ukraine. Pool service Miquel, and others. At the front desk, among others, Monae, Simone, Marvin, Jennifer, Naima, all always with a smile on their face, helpful and friendly. Tatsiana is a great guest relations manager who is also happy to help with problems. As in previous years, I got the same apartment with a view of the main pool and SeaWorld with great fireworks between Tanksgiving and New Year's. The apartment is very well equipped with a well-equipped kitchen, large refrigerator, stove with oven and microwave. In addition, washing machine with dryer and ironing board with iron. Bathroom with shower and toilet, bedroom with king-size bed, large bathtub, double sink, radio alarm clock and flat-screen TV. Living room with L-shaped sofa, table, extra table with large floor lamp, new dining room table with chairs and bench, large flat screen TV, DVD player. In the bedroom bedside lamps, in the floor lamps in the living room and in the dining room bench there are sockets and sockets for USB charging cables so that you can charge your mobile phone, computer or Ipad at any time, even if you forgot your adapter at home. With a stay of 2 months I usually use the room cleaning only 2-3 times. I wash the towels and bed linen myself in the washing machine. Of course you can also use the room service more often. I find it more comfortable that way for me. Many thanks to Shan Shan Tan from housekeeping, she always does a great job cleaning my room, I've been using her help for a few years. For shopping I usually go to Aldi, they have by far the cheapest prices and are only 3 km away and also easy to reach by bus. Many thanks again to the whole great team at the Hilton Grand Vacation Sea World for the great service over the last few years, also to everyone whose names I haven't listed, but unfortunately I can't remember all the names. I'm already looking forward to staying again this year, it's always like coming home. :)

This is a nice resort with great rooms, nice amenities and daily activities but getting from the rooms to the pool area is complicated. The worst part of this resort is the single washer dryer appliance. We travel light and only bring wrinkle free clothing. If You like to wash and dry Your clothing while on vacation, as we do, then if after using the dry cycle in these rooms You can expect to spend a good portion of Your time ironing even Your wrinkle free clothing.Hilton needs to replace ther present Washer/Dryer appliance with a stackable unit that has a separate washer and separate dryer. I would give this resort an excellent rating if Hilton would change the present washer/dryer with something better

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. Please accept our humblest apologies for the engineering challenges you experienced with your washer and dryer. We know the importance of having a relaxing, carefree vacation and it is disheartening to read we did not measure up to the high standards we have set for ourselves. We have shared your feedback with our team to use as a tool when we consider future enhancements to our amenities. Thank you again for sharing your experience. We felt very comfortable staying here this May, because we felt like they took every precaution to protect our family. This was our first stay away from home since Covid-19 and we could not have felt better. When we checked-in they walked us through all of the extra steps and cleaning processes they had used before our stay. When we arrived at the room, there was a security seal and every dish and utensil was in the dishwasher freshly washed and sanitized. There were sanitizers around the property and even travel packets in each of the bathrooms. By the pool, the chairs were spaced far apart, and we felt comfortable spending time there because we were not right next to other guests. All of the staff members we encountered were wearing masks and were friendly as always. I truly felt that they took every step they could to protect us, and made it an enjoyable trip away after so much time at home. You can see from my photos all the room we had and how well absolutely everything was executed! Best of all, everyone was wearing masks at all times, but you could see the smiles in their eyes!!!!!!

We are HGV owners and we visit this location once a year. This trip will probably be our last. We arrived a little after 4pm to check in and we were told our room was unavailable and we would get a call when it was available. Fast forward 2 1/2 hours and we finally get a text message which placed us in an undesirable building. We have 5 favorite buildings on the property and we’ve never had an issue being placed in one of them. I stood in line for 30 minutes to be told the room we were given is the only one available. I was told there was no manager in duty to speak with. I would hope HGV owners would get first crack at the rooms but clearly that’s not the case.

To give the non HGV owner a glimpse at how these properties work - there is no housekeeping service during your stay so the unavailability is never due to a housekeeping staff who is cleaning every room on site and can’t get to yours in a timely fashion. This is flat out horrible management of a resort property.

We stayed at a two bedroom handicap room - I didn't realize that rci had booked a handicap room and a few things drove us nuts including in those rooms there is an automatic door that shuts on it's own (you cannot shut yourself) it takes forever to close and secondly the washer dryer is one machine that does both but you cannot choose to just wash or dry and our unit was broken so we had to wash our clothes down the hall where they did have some large free machines. The shower in the main bedroom was very small - im not even sure how a person with mobility issues would even get in there. The shower also seemed like it wasn't properly cleaned. The tile that was near our eye level seemed to have mold. Our unit was a two bedroom so it had two rooms combined. So other than the main shower the space was really a good size and the other bathroom was nice with a tub shower combo. Our tub was separate from the small shower in main bedroom and was a large soaker tub. We have 3 teenagers so two slept in 2nd bedroom and one on pull out couch. All slept well. Full size kitchen was great but dishwasher had a mind of its own. It would start sometimes when pushing start and other times would start and then stop. Workers/staff were very friendly and seemed to be busy maintaining property. The only thing I noticed outside was the elevator should have been cleaned and had broken triangle up down lights ( a minor detail). We didn't use any of the pools but they looked nice! The main building has a store with Starbucks, gifts and staple items (milk, eggs etc.) The location is great for the parks being right at Sea World property and fairly close to Universal and Disney. Our unit was toward back of the property and was very quiet. Overall despite a few things I mentioned it was a pretty good place to stay. Oh forgot to mention you can buy theme park tickets in the lobby. Also, remember to buy Disney tickets ahead of time because you have to make a reservation for each ticket to the park you want for each day. This needs to be done way ahead of time or you may not get in. Also, Disney did not have any shows running including electric light parade, fireworks at any park we visited. We also had to wear masks in line, stores and all rides at Disney parks. Universal parks were awesome for our family and we did not have to ware mask if vaccinated. Hope this review helps!

The facility is very good in terms of the rooms, the two quite large pools and decks with plenty of deck loungers, poolside bar and restaurant, store and snack shop. It is a very relaxing place and spending time around the pools is quite enjoyable. However, this is a timeshares facility, doubling as a hotel and the housekeeping service doesn't seem to quite appreciate the daily service that is standard and normal for a quality hotel. Not tidying/replacing towels at all the first day until we called, another day removing towels but not replacing them and again we had to call and argue that we needed towels right away and not at some unspecified time even later in the evening, a laundry room soap dispenser that takes your money and gives nothing in return; response on phone that "those don't work, I don't know why they are still there" is not acceptable! Staff is nice but maybe they are used to providing less service to timeshare owners that is spilling over into a "what do you expect anyways" attitude to hotel guests? So if you expect normal hotel service, you might have to fight for it.

Wonderful stay - AAA+ service!! All staff here are amazing and professionally friendly with lots of "How can we help?"; "How's your day?" and "Hi's" whenever we see them, which is daily around the lobby, amenities, and rooms. We often walked around the complex and each time a golf cart came by, the driver would ask if we needed a ride! Special thanks to Jana and Marvin for their quick response and greatly appreciated assistance in regard to our reservations and room assignment, ensuring that everything was just as we had requested (before we even got to the hotel!) - you are both gems!!; to Jeremy, Matt, George, Chris, Jackie, Bekah, and both Miguels for maintaining the gorgeous immense pool areas in an incredibly clean, safe, and orderly condition; extra special thanks to Miguel (pool engineer) who maintains all 3 large pools, 3 kiddie pools and 5 jacuzzis sparkling clean everyday and always had the large pool open and cleaned by 8:00 am so that we could swim laps in the morning - THANK YOU!; to Juan and his fellow housekeeping staff for providing us with toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc. whenever we needed. And all of this service is provided with a smile, kind words and "anything else?" attitude. Thank you all! We very much appreciate your work and your amazing level of professional service.

The studio they stuck us in was the worst advertising to use as a seduction tool to get us to buy into this timeshare. They could have given us a nice remodeled room and instead we got an old musty one. And I let them know it too. When we got the sales pitch the next day we were shown beautiful, clean, spacious, well-appointed rooms. We were getting tempted now. However, they would NOT give us a good answer when we asked how do we get out of it? Data for resale-ability for timeshares, nightmares, etc. etc. They kept saying you do the same as when you want to buy a house. We weren't satisfied with that explanation. No kitchen or cooking stuff or even a disposal for the sink. It took me until 8 pm at night to get a coffee pot. We watched a free DVD movie in our room they do have those RedBox type of movie kiosks that are free to visitors and owners. Kinda cool. They did have shuttle for SeaWorld. Thank God we are one building away from the noisy pool and play area...it is noisy until 11 pm. I guess it is a kids' heaven though.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of our room. It was spotless and it was very evident that the resort was taking this seriously. The room was more spacious than most timeshare floorplans, and the furnishing and appliances including the washer and dryer were of good quality. The staff was consistently friendly and went out of their way to greet you, offer golf cart transportation, etc. It seemed they could almost anticipate your needs, which is an indicator that they have been trained to provide exceptional customer service.

The were only downsides to our stay - (1) $25 daily resort fee, (2) the fact that the pool attendants were supposed to sanitize chairs between uses which I never saw happen, and I was looking for it both times we went to the smaller pool, and (3) the elevators were not well ventilated, so I'd recommend the stairs until the pandemic is over.

Are were up to Hilton standards. Any difference would depend on your interests. We like Tuscany the best because of the screened in balcony overlooking the lake. If you don't have a car, there are places close by to walk to. Mystic Dunes is in a larger more quiet area if you like that fact. Parc Solei, Sea World, and Las Palmeras all had large pool areas that were nice.
