With most things Disney in my experience (and I am speaking of my experiences only) they go above and beyond with customer service. The Animal Kingdom Lodge Arusha View Room was a great stay. The room was basically a standard hotel room, but was decorated with some pretty cool African themed items. we really enjoyed our stay and the highlight...

We stayed here before departing in the Disney Cruise line and after we returned. It was so nice and clean and the staff were really great with my kids. The told thw m stories and even played the drums with them. There was a small hiccup with the magic band but it was fixed quickly. We are DCC members so...

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and was blown away by not only the views but the rooms also, we were even greeted outside reception by a member of staff who knew our names before we even told her! Absolutely breath taking as a whole. Highly highly recommend for families and couples.

Very unique in that there are animals roaming around right outside of the hotel. Beautiful large lobby and the rooms are very nice as we had a balcony room looking over the pool. Unless you have money to burn do not pay extra for the rooms overlooking the preserve as there are viewing areas to see the animals in the...

As grandparents we took our son and his family (two children ages 10 and 11) to this resort for six days. The hotel is so well done - authentically African safari, down to the cast members that work in the resort are on a one year internship from parts of Africa. The kids loved seeing the wildlife roaming on the...

We stayed for three nights in this resort husband, our 2 yrs old and myself. As all Disney Resorts the property and it's decor are amazing, I will compare it in beauty with the Wilderness Lodge, grounds are buildings are very well kept. The fact that you are in the middle of a savannah makes it very unique, I recommend...

Disney has created something really unique with that resort. My older children have been on Safari with me in Africa. So my younger ones got jealous, that they missed something. But caused by Malaria I must stay away now from most African countries. So I went with them a week to the Africa in Florida: Already the reception at the...

We recently returned from a two-night stay at the Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge. My big concern before our stay was whether I should have upgraded to a savannah view to fully appreciate the experience - I had booked a standard room. At check-in, we were put in a room that opened up onto one of the savannas and I was...

We stayed in a one bedroom vacation club room on the sunset savannah. The animals were breath taking. Seeing the giraffe each evening was a highlight. If you stay at Jambo make sure you make your way to Kidani they have a better water slide for older kids and a great spray area. The only negative is the distance from...
