Quick trip to Orlando, check-in smooth professional, Front Desk team, Farrah, Darien & Giuliano, perfect, welcoming with a helpful attitude with great informative information that enhanced our stay. The pool bar restaurant was wonderful, staff attentive and professional, my son loved the lazy river!!

Tropics Pool bar and grill has an amazing group in their staff, Erika, Michael and Gaylord were just exceptional, professional, fun and service oriented. Enhanced our time at the pool! Kat, the manager, must have a Masters in Customer Service, it’s clear she leads from the front! Just Fantastic!

Overall, fantastic stay, due mainly to the staff, room and fantastic fireworks display, best review states: We’ll be back!! Well done Hilton Orlando!!

This place was pretty nice and we enjoyed our stay. They had hand sanitizer near the elevator and only 4 people were allowed on the elevator per COVID-19 guidelines. The room was clean and nice but it never was freshened up during our stay. If we wanted towels or soaps we had to request them and put the trash outside the door.
The highlight of this place was the lazy river, pool area, and the food/drink right outside the pool area. The hotdogs and drinks were always great on the weekends (only time they had them) and the men working them were awesome. This place is located within a mile of many activities and restaurants including topgolf, bars, and SeaWorld.

This Hilton met my expectations and did not disappoint. We checked in late on Saturday night December 28 (full hotel due to bowl game) and checked out January 2nd. Being a diamond member we were able to get a room on the 19th floor (second day, and that was not a problem) with a view facing Sea World. This view was amazing on New Years Eve as the Fireworks from Sea World were outstanding. You could also see fireworks on the horizon as far as your view would let you see and this also did not disappoint as they all lasted a long time. Self parking was easy and simple as the garage is in the back of the hotel and seemed safe as you entered and exited through a gate arm. The management and all staff members are first class and all were very polite from the front desk members, breakfast employees as well as the housekeepers. The rooms were perfect and clean as we could not have asked for a more perfect stay. The kids loved the heated pool area which included a water slide and lazy river that they enjoyed. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this Hilton again.

I’ve been booking small getaways when possible during this Covid 19 situation. Mainly for a mental health break.

Recently I booked an overnight stay at the Hilton believing that they were taking measures to keep staff and customers safe. Unfortunately what I saw and experienced was anything but! Upon arrival the front desk did not have a shield to protect the staff or arriving guests. Staff were not even wearing masks. There was a hand sanitizer in the lobby which ended up being the only visible sanitizer in the entire property. When we went to the pool area we had to open doors and gates and could not find a hand sanitizer. I did inquire with the pool staff where one staff member said there wasn’t any and another one said there was. There was no sanitizer in the pool area for lounge chairs or tables. There was no staff to oversee social distancing either. We did our best to social distance and in fact had to move 3 times to meet CDC guideline.

The only pool staff available was to oversee that guests took only 1 towel per guest because they were short staffed. I think they should’ve taken this opportunity to reiterate safety and social distancing. This could’ve been done either verbally or by walking guests to available areas. This is something that I’ve experienced at other hotels.

While at scratch market we couldn’t find any sanitizer either and none of the staff members in the entire hotel wore staff. The staff member here was on her cellphone while we were standing there waiting for her to assist us. We gave her a moment to finish on her phone to look up but when this didn’t happen we interrupted so we could be serviced. The lack of service throughout the hotel except at the front desk was noticeable.

All of the restaurants were closed including the pool area. They did have a makeshift grill area where they were offering burgers, hotdogs and limited drinks. The problem here was the limited space where people could social distance. Again no hand sanitizers.

I’ve read about Hilton’s commitment to safety but at this property this was anything but. We had considered staying an additional night but decided against it. We simply didn’t feel that the hotel made safety a priority during this Covid pandemic.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the disappointing level of service you received while staying with us, what you describe is certainly not what our guests have come to expect from us over the years. Especially from an award winning resort such as ours. In regards to our efforts during this unfortunate pandemic, we have partnered with Lysol and now use stronger cleaning products as opposed to our already above standard products we were using previously. We have ample sanitizing stations throughout the resort as well as social distancing reminders in public areas. We have also mandated face masks for both team members as well as guests in all public areas. Once again, we humbly apologize for disappointing you, this is the last thing we would every want to do. Kind regards!

Life at the Hilton, so I pulled into the hotel on a Friday afternoon. The website we purchased the room from said they had free parking. But you do pay per night for parking. Check in was rather quick, but the only instructions giving was which elevators to take. So I did self parking and ended up going to the wrong parking garage. So of Course it didn’t open and when I called for help on the intercom no one answered. Went back to the front desk and that’s when it was explained where the parking garage was, I asked if we could change floors and the person was more than happy to move us to a higher floor. (You’ll want to go to the parking garage behind the hotel for self parking. I’d park on the top it lets you go directly into the lobby and the elevators are right there.)

The beds were ok and were made very weird, it seem to be made with all flat sheets and no fitted sheet. There was no comforter, just this thin thing that seems like it could be use to stuff a comforter or duvet. The hotel is beautiful on the inside though. They have a lazy river but not many floats to make sure every guest is able to get one. a quiet area that was not so quiet. I went out there an hr before the pool closed and someone was blasting music. Ppl that worked there walked by a few times and said nothing. Everyone was ecstatic when they left.

They are literally 7 mins from sea world. They don’t offer any transportation to the parks. Due to covid they don’t clean your rooms everyday but you can ask for it to be cleaned daily and if I’m paying this resort fee I definitely want my room cleaned. They do have a seal on the door that you have to break just Stating that the room has been sanitize. I’m not sure if my room was cleaned properly before I broke my seal because there was long strands of hair in the tub. Oh and the pina coladas by the pool are terrible very watered down. Lots of ice and no Pina.

All and all the hotel staff Is very welcoming and nice but idk if that will be enough for me to ever stay here again.

Overall this Hilton is a decent hotel. There are a lot worse hotels around Orlando than this one. The reason we deducted stars are as follows:
The room they gave us had a stale smell. Every time we walked in, we did not like that smell.
Front desk service was not great. They were polite enough but messed up with room key cards and they even messed up our security deposit :(
Sound insulation: could hear the neighbors showering, the walls creaked and shook when neighbors opened and closed their main door to hallway. But we didn’t hear tv next door, at least.
The price: it’s not worth 300 dollars.
What we liked: the room was quiet, the beds and pillows were comfortable. The main curtains were pretty good. We like that the bathroom did not have a glass wall between it and the main room (shower water pressure was ok but not great and the toilet was made for tiny people), the sink counter was decent size and the toiletries provided were good, especially if you like lavender. The tv was good size. The hotel’s location was pretty central, although not immediately near anything. It was too cold when we went to use the pool but our room overlooked it and it looked fun and big-sized. Parking was easy (24 dollars per night). The lights controls in the room were easy. Room size was not small.

Great stay! The facilities and staff strictly adhered to the CDC recommendations. Air purifiers are in each room, face masks are required for guests and staff, social distancing policy for elevators, and delicious food served with covered dishes. We felt very comfortable and would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here numerous times over the years and had a great experience each time. This time was different.

Service - Hotel implemented a new policy where they would only clean rooms every few days instead of daily…although they will empty your trash upon request.

Cleanliness - While dining at the pool restaurant, I observed a server pick up trash and other debris off of the ground, throw it away, then walk straight to the bar and pick up food for another table, all without washing or sanitizing her hands.

Adult pool - There is a “Quiet Resort Pool” for those 18 and older. Tonight this pool was packed with children playing water polo. There doesn’t seem to be any staff supervision in the pool area to enforce the rules.

I’m not sure why things have gone downhill or if management or ownership is even aware of it, but I won’t be staying here again, nor can I recommend this hotel to family, friends or coworkers.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my family recently, this was our first trip since the pandemic and we were a bit nervous about it but we definitely had a great time at the hotel and would recommend it.

Our room was on the 16th floor with a pool view and it was sizeable enough and clean. My wife usually inspects a room for signs of neglect when we check in and she was happy with the room.

We spent most of our time by the pool and ordered lunch from the pool menu which was reasonably priced for a hotel, the nachos was definitely sizeable enough to be shared by 2. Our dinner was from local restaurants using Uber and Doordash deliveries which all worked out very well. The hotel provides a reasonable breakfast buffet which was free for 2 people with Hilton Diamond status and $10 for kids under 12 and $15 for kids over 12. The restaurant was shut on our first Monday so we had to grab "to go" bags instead and they certainly do not compare to the buffet.

The kids and I loved the slide and the slow river and spent a majority of our time in the pool, which was not very busy because the occupancy levels are still low. I think it would get very crowded when the occupancy levels increase.

We got our sweeties and sundry items from a 7-Eleven which is just across the road from the hotel and there are a few chain restaurants like iHop and Red Lobster within walking distance.

We used Lyft to and from the airport, there was surge pricing the day we arrived so it was about $55 to the hotel but getting back to the airport cost about half that, which I suspect is the normal price. It takes about 30 mins to get to the hotel from the airport.
There a lot of other reviews that tell you all you need to know about the hotel and you would definitely not regret choosing Hilton Orlando, the only thing I found slightly uncomfortable was the bed but it might have been my choice of pillows.

Finally, the hotel does not have an Executive lounge.

I try to provide additional information that I look for in reviews so I hope you have found this useful.

The #1 thing I look for in a hotel room is quiet at night, and the Hilton Orlando was a mixed bag. Like most Hilton's, room doors do nothing to block any noise from the hallway. I picked a room at the end of a hallway to try to avoid noise, which worked for the most part. However there was one night where I had to suffer with noisy drunken neighbours going in and out of nearby rooms every 5 minutes.

The rooms overall were a bit dated. The bathroom was okay, but the rest of the room was really desperate for new paint and carpet. However it was decently spacious for doing yoga, the hvac worked okay, and it had a coffee maker, in-room safe, and fridge. The bed wasn't the best but was far from the worst. Room service menu was very limited but there is always Doordash or Uber Eats.

Where the hotel does shine somewhat is with the other amenities. The pool area is very nice and the fitness center is huge and well equipped.

Yes a key card is required to enter the pool area but usually there will be people there exiting and you can just go in. The staff there are very chill.
