Stayed in this hotel for one night only so review is basic, was told that ongoing upgrading work to hotel would be in progress but was not aware of anything, did notice a stale smell in hotel corridors but not in rooms as had been...More
We recently returned home from a six night- seven day stay at Disney World's Yacht Club Resort. This was our third visit in ten years to this most beautifully maintained and operated "Flagship Resort". Each and every member of their crew ( no matter their...More
Extremely slow plumbing drain of both toilet AND tub/shower. Tub/shower problem fixed after being addressed, but slow draining toilet never improved. Always feared near overflow, with delays caused as well. Staff seems "uninterested", "detached" and definitely reveal the declining standards of Disney we have enjoyed...More

So sorry for your allergy! There are several properties that are limited “dog friendly,” including the Yacht. We were told it’s 4 rooms at each property... only those 4. At least 1 is on the concierge level. Dogs are welcome in hallways and elevators (to access rooms) and they do have a separate “dog relief station” near a side entrance. They also may be in the lobby or around the property...as has always been true for service dogs FYI. Since it’s just the 4 (Yacht, POP, Port Orleans Riverside and the Cabins) who permit personal pets, they won’t be in any other properties. However, remember service dogs do stay with their owners.
We have seen a couple family type dogs walking around the Yacht.
Disney will also deep clean rooms before you arrive in request.
Hope this helps.
