I love staying at the Wilderness Lodge. From the moment I enter the impressive lobby I feel like I am some where special! The cast members can't do enough to accommodate you and the rooms are comfy and cozy with their rustic decor. There are lots of quiet nooks in the lobby area to sit and read or relax. The...

What you should know. You will immediately feel like you're on vacation because of the stunning design - this is what staying in one of the great lodges of the national parks must be like. And the Native American artifacts were museum quality when not reproductions - Edward Curtis photos, 1860 Crow painting, 36-star US flag - stunning. Rooms were...

We chose this hotel because my kids are into the woodsy/lodge feel. We booked a total of two rooms for two adults and two children because it would have been very close quarters for the four of us. The rooms were very clean, and the kids loved the bunk beds. Although we did have an issue with the housekeeping staff...

I should preface this by letting everyone know that our family adores Walt Disney World, so color this review at its rosiest! We keep coming back, time and time again, to the Wilderness Lodge for several very good reasons. First, we like the location. Our favorite, the Magic Kingdom, is only a pleasant boat ride away. And, with the extra...

Just spent 5 nights at Wilderness Lodge in Club Level Room 7127. Landed at Orlando airport at 3:30 and were in room at 4:45. Magical Express bus from airport with luggage handling was great - you skip baggage claim and your luggage shows up in your room within a couple of hours of your check in. This was nice room...

I chose this hotel because my family and I visited Disney during Christmas time and I thought the lodge theme would be appropriate. I only have a few cons: no one helped us carry our heavy bags from the bus up the stairs into the hotel, one of the concierge ladies told us that you cannot purchase the Very Merry...

I travel a ton for work, and we decided to pay out of pocket for the Disney magic....I will say the transportation by boat was really cool, the grounds were perfection and the geyser and stream were Greta little ad dons. I loved the extra seating areas all over and the lobby is breathtaking. Almost makes up for the horrible,...

Pros - the lobby is beautiful, there are 3 restaurants to choose and each one has good food, the arcade is a fun down time experience, the pool is clean and has a great slide, and there is a small beach with extra activities everybody forgets is there (like boat excursions, volleyball, tetherball, smores camp fires and a shaded picnic...

After researching different options of places to stay in Walt Disney World, we decided to stay at the Wilderness Lodge. We were not disappointed. We opted for the Disney transportation from the Orlando airport again a good decision, as we didn’t need a car. At the airport we were greeted by the Magic Express representative, and brought to Wilderness Lodge....

Just returned from a terrific stay at the wilderness lodge with my family. This is the second year in a row that we have stayed here - and it really is a terrific place. There is so much to do - you could easily spend a few days never leaving the resort. The staff really seems to go out of...
