Hotel is beautiful, until we went in our rooms. We never knew to ask for the new section. We figured all were updated but not so. First we booked 3 rooms together poolside but only two were next to each other. The other room was in another hall. Plus not poolside at all. Our room was in a corner behind...

This is a must place to stay for military travelers! Superb grounds and facilities plus the convenience of being close to Disneyworld made it well worth our time. The hotel restaurants are outstanding and reasonably priced. Busing is provided to the park and back.

Shades of green is a bargain for the money. The location is ideal as its on the gold course and adjacent Polynesian village. On booking ask for the renovated new wing. The old building which is scheduled for demolition has sewer smells in both rooms we occupied. Also second floor can be very noisy! 1 and 3 is recommended!

My family and I stayed here for a couple of nights while we went to the Disney parks. I thought the resort was very nice. Our check-in went fast and professional. I was impressed at how big the room was and we had a beautiful view of the golf course. We dined in the Garden Gallery for breakfast and it...

Staying at SOG saved plenty of money for lodging as well as Disney tickets. Room was very nice, even though we had quite a walk to get to the front of the hotel. Transportation system was good as there was always a bus within 10-15 minutes. Bad things: Definitely family-oriented, so if your looking for a quiet place, may not...

First of all, this is a military only establishment and there are minimum requirements to stay here. With that being said, this is the best place I've ever stayed at on Disney property. The staff is amazing, the resort has wonderful restaurants and activities for families. The rooms are fantastic. They have 2 pools, a small arcade, a gaming room...

On a family trip to the disney parks, we stayed at the Shades of Green Hotel. This is a wonderful place to stay for veterans with great location for Disney Parks. There are buses that take you to the parks periodically. Rooms were older but clean. Hotel has great pools and grounds. It has a kids pool too! I would...

The hotel location and price are good for Disney. The rooms are also larger than standard rooms. There are only 2 designated smoking areas in the complex. I believe it should be legal to smoke anywhere outside away from any entrance or even off your room's balcony. I would also like to see them offer some "pet friendly" rooms since...

Our group was two grandparents, two parents, two 16 year old boys and two 10 year old girls (our son and daughter each brought a friend). Grandparents had a separate room, and our other two rooms were connecting. Our rooms 3145, 3146 and 3149 were in the newer section of the resort, overlooking the first tee of the Palm golf...
