The place is nothing to write home about but it's a little cheaper than most places in town. The internet wasn't working real well and there was some recent improvements to the old rooms. It could still use some work.

We stayed here because we happened to need a room on a weekend of a big music festival. The only room in town with two double beds happened to be here. (Three tired toddlers and a husband that had no desire to drive any further after dark over road my frugality) We paid $190 for one night at this place.... More

We had a room that was clean but in need of repairs. The air conditioner did not work and the TV didn't get half the channels. We requested a new room and got one. The air conditioner worked as did the TV. The second room was in worse repair than the first. Both rooms had really dirty carpets. Both had... More

From nasty stains everywere to no heat and torn blankets with matching sheets. It looked like a slasher movie gone bad. I left but am afraid I left with some of there guests in my lugage. This is the nastiest place I have ever stayed in my life And I'm from Brooklyn.

My husband, son (5 yo) and i stayed here for 4 nights while we were visiting my mom and dad at Silver Palms RV park. The Flamingo wasn't bad.... our room had somewhat recently been redone-- nice tile floors, new bathroom vanity... the king bed was pretty comfortable. I wish they offered more rooms that have 2 queen beds--- my... More

Very comfortable, clean, quiet & affordable. If I'm ever in the area in the future, I would definitely stay here again! Trucker friendly! Plenty of large vehicle parking. Our truck and 53 ft. trailer fit in here just fine with plenty of room for others.

This value motel is sufficient for a night's stay to be near family or fishing. Sheets and towels are clean and the location on a main street and next to McDonald's is great. The continental breakfast is lacking anything nutritious, the pillows and beds are lumpy and the a/c was not on when we arrived, so the room was almost... More

Our room was very clean, very outdated, very noisy and desk personnel sometimes difficult to communicate with. There is nothing attractive about the place. Pool area was desolute with only a few plastic chairs to sit on. It is conveniently located and our room had a microwave and fridge, ample towels and shampoos. The price was right at about $50... Surprisingly large privately-owned motel in Okeechobee. Between December and March is Okeechobee's high season and rooms are somewhat hard to get and expensive. One of the few budget choices at around $70 is the Flamingo. It is reasonably well maintained, has a nice pool, and the rooms are spacious (if a little sparsely furnished) and clean. The area is popular... More

We were looking for a place between Treasure Island and Weston on our way south. Most motels were much more expensive and although this one didn’t have consistently high ratings, we booked it online. The big pink motel next to a Best Western turned out to be just fine and we’d book here again. Check-in was fine. Front desk was... More
