This is a great resort for families. The beach is beautiful. The staff did an amazing job, are very friendly and my room was clean. But, the evening before we departed we tried to organize a cab to the airport, and they were booked out. No one told us to organize this at least a day before when we checked...

We just returned from a 5 night stay at the South Seas Resort. This was our 4th trip to this resort – but unfortunately, it could be our last until the accommodations get an overhaul. This is really a shame, because the location is absolutely beautiful. South Seas has so much to offer. The common areas are very well maintained....

This property boasts an ideal location with outstanding views. We stayed this time in a private home with a pool, located right on an inlet and overlooking the sound. Really a great house with every feature imaginable, except HD television. Why have a beautiful 70 inch flatscreen and not have HD quality inputs? Makes zero sense particularly if you are...

We were in the Bayside villa at the south point I would not call the resort a luxury hotel there is no room service in room Jacuzzi etc.. The villa was a small condo style with a kitchen which we didn't use. It was very clean with a wonderful view. Housekeeping was timely and always efficient. One recommendation is to...

Dear Gidavids, We were delighted to have you here with us and we appreciate your great review! We agree that a golf cart is a great way to get the most out of all there is to do here at the resort, and we’re sure our future guests will be grateful for the helpful tip. We thank you, too, for...

We are locals and wanted to visit Captiva for a quick weekend get away on our anniversary. South Seas seemed like the logical choice. We usually go down to Marco Island. We showed up early on Saturday and the lady at the checkout counter was very nice and helpful. We reserved the 1 bedroom, ocean villa for our stay for...

This has been a family fave nearly 20 years. Sadly can no longer claim that spot. Resort is tired and needs significant renovation. Day one our room was never cleaned! Called to report and ask for towels and was told "Housekeeping had a rough day today". Bathrooms were dirty, dark grout, liquid stains on vanities. Rugs were filthy. All this...

The property the resort is on is beautiful. So much wildlife and never crowded. Most of the employees were very friendly and helpful. Our room, however, was outdated and was not the cleanest and even when it was cleaned, it wasn't done very well. There were no extra blankets or pillows and we never did receive any after requesting them...

Can't say enough about this place! Our second time here & it doesn't disappoint. Great beaches, pools, fishing and convenience to good restaurants and shops. The wildlife & ocean life are amazing! So many dolphins, pelicans, manatees, etc. It is the most relaxing place for kids & adults. Can't wait to go back!
