There are few places in Captiva where you can stay for less than a week. These cottages allow this. We had three nights staying in cottage no 8, Blue Lagoon.
This is just steps from the pool and bay.
The interior was so pretty, in shades of turquoise and white, and although quite small, was well equipped with a lovely bedroom and bathroom with bath, shower and washing machine. The large lanai overlooking a lawn and the pool had a table and chairs and lounging chairs.
The gardens are very well maintained and abound in flowering shrubs,
The long Jetty is a great place to see manatee, and many birds. Dolphin can also be spotted. We sat in large 'florida' chairs overlooking the bay, with our bottle of wine and watched the wildlife.
Just a few minutes walk down quiet Dickey lane brings you into the Center of Captiva and all the restaurants and shops.
Our key was waiting inside the cottage when we arrived, and we were told to just leave it when we left
A lovely stay, and one we would certainly repeat, having stayed in the accommodation on Andy Rosse lane before, and finding these cottages far superior.

WOW cannot believe this hidden gem in Captiva. The cottage had a better kitchen sink than I have at home!! Bed was firm but for short people, you really need to bring a stool to get into bed. The toilet is not made for handicapped people - we went to the hardware store and brought a toilet raiser. Otherwise, location, location. and location. Management was wonderful, too! Thank you.

HI
If you're talking about the bayside cottages on Captiva, then yes they do have nice kitchenettes. Ours was pretty well equipped altogether. The only thing we lacked was a kettle- we Brits do like our tea, but there was a coffee maker.
Happy to answer any queries you have.
