A quiet retreat on Casey Key. No frills, but room was clean and it was quiet. Pool is lovely and there are grills for use as well as beach chairs and umbrellas. There are no restaurants or bars nearby, but that also means less noise and traffic. Be sure to catch the sunsets on the beach. Close to Sarasota and...

We stayed in a two bedroom unit with a kitchen Easter weekend 2017. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. The space was very clean and the kitchen had the basics that we needed to cook for two days. ( I did bring my own skillet). Out of the 5 burners on the stove only 2 worked,...

The worst thing about this place was... Walking across the street to the beach ( & it's not so bad, takes 2 min!) We had: 2nd floor unit, there's only 2 floors. Great view of waterway & boats going back & forth from our open private deck. Great wi-fi in room...Great a/c... Great hot water in shower... Great water pressure....

This was a last minute get a way so took what was available. Not the worst place I have stayed in. The room was clean the owner friendly and close to the beach. The room was in bad shape. No hot water in shower, tub didn't drain and outlets were so loose had to prop plugs to stay in place. Stairs...

Old, rickety, walked through an alley to our room! Gross floor, bad slider door for entrance. Never saw an employee, no housekeeping. We had to take out our trash! 2nd floor, up sketchy wooden stairs, very thin walls.

The location was great. The place is VERY old and in need of LOTS of work. Parking was such a hassle. The room, while clean, was so outdated. The sofa bed was HORRIFIC. It was partly broken and I had to put blankets and comforters under the sheet to lessen the feel of the bars. Told her on check out...

This was like a very bad 1960's hotel. We were advised since we were checking in after 3pm to look for an envelope with our name on it in the mailbox. Different, but ok. Got the envelope with our room key (remember those?!) . The only door to the room was a sliding glass door. Thankfully my husband was able...

A place to be motel is as advertised. For that it gets a 5. It is older, it does need updating. None of those points were ever a secret. It is VERY clean. When it does get updated, which it will soon, I'm sure the prices will go up exponentially. I've never been a Florida fan, until Nokomis and A...
