I've lived in the area all my life, but just recently me and some buddies decided to go camping at Hurricane Lake for the first time. We stayed on the south side at the primitive camp grounds, and all my expectations where exceeded. The view...More

We camped here Oct 2014. Only $10. Well worth it. South side is primitive. No water and no electricity. Each site has its own picnic table and fire pit. Each site has plenty of room, however there is no brush or barrier for privacy between...More

Hurricane Lake Campground is the perfect place to get away from it all! The facility is basic but very well kept. There are both standard camper hook ups and primitive camping spots. We spent 2 nights there in June 2014 and camped in our tent....More

Overall our experience was great. We really didn't catch anything but the area is nice and it's great to bank fish and use the pier for fishing. We will go back and try with a boat next time.
