We had a lovely 2 night stay at New Barn Cottage. The room was clean and comfortable with nice warm towels and a hot shower for us both. The breakfast was delicious and locally sourced and we were kindly allowed to borrow OS maps and local maps to help guide us. We had a wonderful, friendly welcome - thank you...

Dad and I take a couple of days off every year to go walking. This year we chose the South Downs National Park, and were lucky enough to stumble on the Newbarn Cottage website. The B&B is located 15 minutes walk away from the village of Selborne. There are two rooms available, in a nicely built structure separate from the...

Our stay at Newbarn Cottage was exactly what we wanted. It is situated in a quiet lane and there are lovely views from the terrace. We were treated to a warm welcome, comfortable room and a great breakfast. Excellent value for money.

My husband and I spent one night here recently. The two bedrooms are in a separate building with a balcony and chairs and table. The views from the bedroom are just fantastic - even though it was pouring with rain! The room was a delight, beautifully light and airy with a most comfortable bed and lovely little en-suite. Mrs. Overall...

My other half and I spent 3 nights @ Newbarn Cottage and it was just as described in Yell and Tripadvisor: The beautiful house, the best location, an incredibly comfortable bed, the best breakfasts ever and the hostess help with everything. She even packed the breakfast we couldn't finish every day so that we could have it as snacks later,...

“We stayed in the twin ensuite which was very comfortable. Beds/linen were impeccable. The shower/loo was spotless. The kettle and TV worked just fine. Would have rated the room excellent instead of very good if it were slightly bigger - even though it was big enough for the two of us.”
