I am a huge fan of The Palms, having just returned from an eight-night stay. But it's definitely not for everyone -- so I've tried to list the pros and cons, to avoid misunderstandings. This was my second time staying at the property. A frequent visitor to Miami, I used to always stay at The Raleigh, before it was sold...

I recently spent a long weekend on South Beach. This was our first time staying at The Palms. The service was excellent. The Palms is in an ideal location on Collins Ave with exclusive beach access. As a hospitality industry executive, I hold hotels to a very high standard. The Palms passed the test with flying colors. I commend this...

My family and I just got back from Miami. We thought the service at the Palms was remarkable! Every staff member that we were greeted with was very kind - notable mention to the pool bar staff! They were very cordial and hospitable. The rooms were a little on the small side but we were with a 1 & 3...

Great place to stay, access to the beach is excellent. Sea wall walks are delightful. Everything about that place is super good, except the rooms are not efficiently designed, small and the mandatory 18% gratuity on all food. I am not sure whether they advertise this fact on the web.

We recently spent a weekend at The Palms Hotel as we were in Miami Beach for a wedding. The room was very comfortable, and the pool area was beautiful . The staff are quite accommodating. The concierge was very helpful in finding transportation for us back to the airport. I would recommend checking your bill carefully. My wife and I...

My firm spent five days at The Palms for a work retreat and I was very impressed with this hotel. The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean and comfortable with twice-daily maid service. The only strange thing about the rooms is the toilets have sinks above them that when you flush the toilet the sink turns on automatically. I...

A rare thing indeed to find an independent hotel with an Aveda Spa and a great restaurant on premise! Lovely rooms with a full and half bath made for a wonderful girls weekend getaway as we could both get ready to go out at the same time. The rooms are intimate and cozy, but plenty big for two and attractively...

We just got back from South Beach from a business trip. The greatest highlight of our stay was to go back to our "South Beach Home" every night. Wonderful staff, excellent service. Essensia restaurant superb. The personalized treatment added to a recently renovated building with exquisite taste makes this a paradise away from home with great attention to detail.

We booked here with some apprehension. We booked "Superior" room. Prior to arrival I emailed the hotel to confirm room type. I was emailed back that our reservation was intact. Upon arrival we were taken to a beautiful oceanfront room. I asked if any upgrades were available to purchase. I was able to upgrade to a oceanfront suite for a...
