Booked one night at the Pelican and wish we had the time to stay longer. The location, on South Beach literally, can't be topped. Everything about the property was fantastic and funky. The rooms are all themed and ours (Me Tarzan You Vain) was a corner room, very comfortable and well appointed. We arrived late and missed the free happy...

We spent three nights at the Pelican and never wanted to leave. This fantastic little property right on Ocean Drive become a home away from home the minute we entered. They have both a great front desk team and restaurant / bar team - both went well beyond the call of duty to help us throughout our stay. The property...

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The hotel was exactly what I wanted in a boutique-type place and the location was perfect! We were right on Ocean Drive across the street from the beach! The complimentary happy hour was GREAT! Two hours long and you can order basically anything! We also stayed when there was...

A local friend recommended this hotel. It's like one of those cool little boutique hotels you'd find in New York City, except the rooms are twice the size. My room was themed after Las Vegas, without the cigarette smoke and prostitutes :) Included in my room rate were breakfast, happy hour, free beach chairs at the ocean and a free...

We stayed there for 5 days. The location is perfect if you would like to be in the center of attractions. The hotel offers a free happy hour between 4 and 6 pm. Isn't that great? The front desk service is amazing, Carlos and Mentore are the best... The hotel needs to improve Valet parking. It usually takes 20 minutes...

Great location if you want to be in the middle of everything. Right opposite the beach with oodles of restaurants around. Our room had no view which in hindsight was great. There was absolutely zero noise from the street. The room was quite small but this is common with most of the art deco styled hotels in the area. All...

My Wife and I checked into the Pelican on Sunday, Oct 13,for a one night stay, upon checking in we were treated like gold!! Check in was quick and easy, and the room was very chic! All the rooms have a theme, we were in up , up , and away, a airplane flight theme!! Beds were a lil on...

Can second a lot of what others have said: helpful front desk, cute decor, free water, breakfast beach chair and towels. Just an all around great hotel. I got the room through Priceline. Had to call to make sure I got a queen instead if two twins.
