If you enjoy art deco hotels this is one of the best. Beautifully appointed public areas and rooms, although rooms are somewhat on the small side. On check-in the front desk staff member clearly struggled with the English language. Probably not the best place to place such a recruit. The bell staff/porters are the strong feature of the service side...

Just finished 10 days in south Florida, 8 at The National. What a beautiful hotel. Prime location - close to Lincoln Road, great restaurants (OLA), a fantastic pool (the pool just off the restaurant is 204ft long - a true classic; beautiful Art Deco decor and a staff that cares (Special thanks to Karen, Richard, Armando, Michelle, Brian and Elvan),...

I asked if there was something else he could do to make up for this error in service. I was told abruptly that my other option was to maybe find another hotel that would better accomodate my needs. Being...

At booking I got an email with the total price including taxes. We paid the first night in advance as usual. Upon checking out I was confronted with an extra 150 dollars. No one could tell me where the difference came from. Two nice girls behind the desk were all smile, but no service and certainly no accuracy in solving...

We were there for 5 nights. We had the room in the stairwell (705), first we thought it was bizarre but we got use to it and it was very quiet. We had a view on the ocean, however the windows were not clean ( i guess it was the stains from the sea salt)Room was small, same for bathroom...

We've stayed at the National Hotel in the cabana rooms many times and love the 1939 classic style. The finishing touches accomplished by the renovation give the hotel that perfect touch. The staff are excellent. The dining room staff, Darby, Maxim and Avi are warm and wonderful and make us feel like family. Natalia, the concierge went out of her...
