I just have to say that every time I stay at the National, I am greeted so warmly. The hotel has undergone renovations and the rooms are just spectacular. So clean too! The staff bends over backwards to make sure your stay is excellent from the time you arrive until you leave. The pool is just amazing and the food...

My husband and I stayed four nights at this hotel in early November. We decided to stay at The National because of a previous wonderful stay there many years ago. Our room was fine, however, over priced. We feel the service and amenities at the beach were very poor. The beach staff was very indifferent and slow. The daily resort...

We had an absolutely awesome rehearsal dinner at the National Hotel on November 14, 2014. The bride and groom, our son, have particular dietary restrictions and the staff, especially Michelle, the Social Events Coordinator, was extremely attentive to our needs. The food was delicious, the service exception and everyone worked very hard to ensure a delightful and seamless experience. I...

The National is a classic Miami Beach hotel that recently went through renovations. This was my third stay at the property. The hotel has a classic throwback feel. The property is beach front with full beach services (beach loungers, umbrellas included) It is nice that you can spend time at the beach and then retreat to the very nice pool...

When we arrived to check in and saw that an event was taking place, I wish we would have asked how long and what the implications would be of said event... The event took over the whole hotel! There were rarely any loungers free, noisy drinks receptions lasted until the early hours despite the staff protested the music would be...

My family and I spent 3 amazing nights at National Hotel in MIami Beach last week. We did not want to leave. It was like stepping back into an Art Deco world where every visitor was treated like a treasured family member. The customer service was unlike any I have ever experienced before. I wish I had written down all...

Escaped to South Beach for a few days of R&R. The cabana room I booked (1709) was remodeled, huge and had a wonderful balcony. The staff was happy and friendly just adding to a lovely experience. Whether you prefer the pool or the beach, both are beautiful. Lincoln Road is out the front door. I would stay again in a...

This hotel is a hidden beachfront gem, nestled between the Ritz and Loew's. The staff were unanimously the nicest of any hotel I've stayed before -- worldwide. Yes, the hotel is dated, but it is clean and the location is great. The guest rooms could use coffee machines, and not having a countertop in the bathroom is inconvenient, but for...
